Chilean AI startup OMNIX has officially launched its operations in Brazil, establishing a 30-person team in São Paulo. This significant expansion into Latin America's largest market follows the finalization of a global strategic alliance with technology giant Oracle. The move marks a pivotal step in OMNIX's strategy to scale its proprietary AI solutions across the region and into new, high-stakes industries.

Strategic Alliance Fuels Expansion

OMNIX's entry into Brazil was catalyzed by its strategic decision to target the government and defense sectors, which required highly secure private infrastructure. This need led the company to form a global partnership with Oracle, integrating its proprietary AI solutions into the Oracle marketplace. The alliance not only provided the necessary technological backbone but also opened doors to new commercial opportunities and networks within the Brazilian market.

Proprietary AI for Critical Operations

OMNIX differentiates itself by developing a proprietary operational cognitive platform that builds custom AI models for each client. These systems are designed to monitor critical operations in industries like logistics and manufacturing, autonomously detecting disruptions and executing real-time corrective actions. Co-founder and CEO Aaron Cassorla likens the model to Palantir, emphasizing the high accuracy and security of keeping all processes within a client's private environment.

A Foundation of Profitability and Innovation

A key factor in OMNIX's success has been its sustainable business model, which has allowed it to be profitable since its founding in 2020. The company demonstrates a strong commitment to technological advancement by reinvesting approximately 30% of its revenue directly into research and development. This focus on innovation ensures its proprietary AI platform remains at the cutting edge, delivering tangible value to its enterprise clients.

Impressive Growth and Financial Outlook

The company enters this new market from a position of financial strength, serving 19 corporate clients with active contracts valued at approximately US$30 million. OMNIX has achieved a valuation of US$70 million with support from investors like Wayra and Plug and Play. For its new Brazilian operations, the company projects generating around US$1.5 million in revenue by 2026, signaling strong confidence in its market potential.

Future in Brazil and Beyond

The new São Paulo office is OMNIX's fourth international location, joining operations in Chile, Colombia, and Peru, from which it serves eight markets. In Brazil, the company is also evaluating the potential acquisition of a local AI firm that serves the government and major banks. This strategic move could significantly accelerate OMNIX's capabilities and market penetration by combining its autonomous technology with local expertise in large-scale AI models.

OMNIX's expansion into Brazil, backed by its powerful alliance with Oracle and a proven proprietary AI platform, signals a new chapter of ambitious growth. This strategic move not only strengthens its position in Latin America but also paves the way for international scalability. By targeting critical industries and exploring strategic acquisitions, OMNIX is positioning itself as a key player in the enterprise AI sector.
