Bites raised a US$40 million Series A funding round led by PeakSpan Capital. The company builds an AI-native platform for training frontline employees. The round brings its total funding to US$55 million.
Funding and board
Existing backers Vertex Ventures, Horizon Capital, Rittenhouse Ventures, and Lyra Ventures also joined the round. PeakSpan's Phil Dur and Charlie Reinkemeyer will join the Bites board. Bites said the capital will fund U.S. expansion and platform development.
Customer traction
Bites was founded in 2020 and is headquartered in New York and Tel Aviv. Its customers include Unilever, Coca-Cola, Shake Shack, Wynn Resorts, The Venetian, and Compass Group. The company reports engagement above 90% within three weeks and 161% net revenue retention.
How the platform works
Bites reaches employees through WhatsApp, SMS, Microsoft Teams, Slack, or a simple link. Each lesson runs up to 90 seconds and pairs a video with a question and summary. Its AI Studio turns a PDF, standard operating procedure, or idea into a branded video in minutes.
Bites plans to scale enterprise sales and customer success from New York. It will also build partner and reseller channels and expand into banking, insurance, and the extended workforce. CEO Eran Heffetz is relocating to New York to lead the commercial organization.
