Alefredo EdTech has announced the acquisition of UK-based tutoring platform Tutor House in a move aimed at creating a unified digital and human-led education ecosystem across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The deal combines Alefredo’s digital learning content with Tutor House’s network of more than 30,000 tutors. Together, the companies aim to deliver an integrated, AI-powered learning experience across major international curricula.

Expanding from Content Provider to Full Learning Platform

The acquisition represents a strategic shift for Alefredo, which is evolving from a digital content provider into a comprehensive learning platform. By integrating its curriculum-based digital resources with live tutoring services, the company plans to offer students a seamless educational journey from self-study to personalized instruction. The new platform is expected to use adaptive AI tools to connect content, assessments, and tutoring into a single learning pathway.

Company founder and CEO Ahmad Al Saif described the deal as a step toward building the next generation of education technology. He emphasized that the strategy is centered on combining a large library of curriculum-specific materials with a carefully vetted network of human tutors. According to Al Saif, artificial intelligence will act as the engine that links these elements to create more personalized and effective learning experiences.

Hybrid Model Targeting International Curricula

The combined entity will focus on delivering a hybrid model that merges AI-driven content with expert-led tutoring. The platform will support British, American, and International Baccalaureate education systems, targeting students across the EMEA region. By aligning Tutor House’s tutoring infrastructure with Alefredo’s digital tools, the company intends to scale a learning experience that blends technology with human instruction.

Through the acquisition, Alefredo also gains access to Tutor House’s established presence in the UK market. This includes the opportunity to extend its digital learning resources to more than four million students across the country. At the same time, Tutor House will benefit from Alefredo’s digital platforms and reach in Middle Eastern markets.

Strengthening Market Reach in the UK and Middle East

The deal is expected to strengthen Alefredo’s position in both the UK and Middle Eastern education markets. Tutor House brings a mature tutoring network and strong expertise in the British curriculum, while Alefredo contributes its digital infrastructure and existing user base across several countries. This combination is intended to accelerate the rollout of a unified learning model across multiple regions.

Alefredo currently serves more than 20,000 users in 16 countries through its platforms, which include interactive exams, past papers, and teacher-developed summaries. Founded in Jordan in 2020, the company initially started as a marketplace for academic textbooks before expanding into digital learning tools. Its resources now cover major international programs, including American AP, British Edexcel and Cambridge, and the IB Diploma.

The acquisition of Tutor House marks a significant step in Alefredo’s ambition to become a comprehensive education platform across EMEA. By combining digital content, AI-driven tools, and a large global tutoring network, the company aims to deliver a more personalized and scalable learning experience. As the demand for hybrid education models grows, the deal positions the combined entity to compete across key international curriculum markets.
