The UAE-India Start-up Series is an initiative designed to foster and connect high-potential Indian start-ups with significant opportunities within the UAE and broader international markets. The program aims to enhance cross-border collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship by building stronger ties between the start-up ecosystems of India and the UAE. It facilitates closer cooperation among incubators, accelerators, and related institutions, serving as a practical implementation of this shared vision.
Program Benefits and Opportunities
• Selected start-ups will receive support to help establish their presence in Abu Dhabi.
• Three shortlisted start-ups will gain entry into Hub71’s Access Programme.
• One start-up from the Access Programme will receive up to AED 250,000 in in-kind incentives and AED 250,000 in cash through a SAFE note.
• Additional benefits for the top start-up include tailored mentorship, investor introductions, regulatory support, and access to Hub71’s network of corporate and government partners.
• Up to seven start-ups will be eligible for Hub71’s Immersion Programme, featuring one week of virtual preparation on the Abu Dhabi and UAE ecosystem.
• The Immersion Programme is followed by one week of curated in-person sessions at Hub71 to support market entry and facilitate introductions.
• All participating founders are eligible for investor introductions, streamlined pathways to incorporation in the UAE, and other financial and in-kind support from the program's network of partners.
Eligibility Criteria
• Applicants must be high-potential Indian start-ups from any sector.
• Start-ups must demonstrate strong innovation, business viability, and relevance to the UAE market.
• Companies must be Indian-registered entities.
• A clear product or service offering, existing market traction, and a roadmap for UAE engagement are required.
• The programme is open to start-ups from both metro and non-metro regions of India.
