Program Structure and Core Support
• Step 1 - Innovation Readiness Diagnostic: Participants begin by understanding their most significant gaps and identifying the necessary next steps to develop a market-ready solution.
• Step 2 - Peer Coaching: Startups are matched with a peer coaching group led by an experienced entrepreneur.
• Step 3 - Foundation Programme: A 14-week program is conducted to test assumptions and implement best practices.
• Step 4 - Sprints and Coaching: The program includes monthly sprints and group coaching sessions led by experienced entrepreneurs.
• Funding: All selected startups receive up to £20,000 in grant funding, monthly sessions with investors, 1:1 investor introductions, and access to non-dilutive funding opportunities.
• Space: Participants gain access to world-class shared labs, the Advanced Hackspace for prototyping, and co-working, meeting, and office space.
• Advice: The program offers regular 1:1 and group coaching, mentor feedback and support, and pro bono assistance from service providers.
• Community: Startups can engage in 'Off the Record' sessions with entrepreneurs, attend monthly community meet-ups, and join the Undaunted alumni network upon program completion.
Location and Facilities
• DeepTech Hub: The Greenhouse is based at the Imperial Incubator in WestTech London, the city's DeepTech hub located in the White City Innovation District.
• World-Class Facilities: Participants can tap into a growing ecosystem of DeepTech startups and access world-class facilities, including the Royce Institute.
• Prototyping Support: Access to shared lab benches and prototyping facilities is available through the Imperial Incubator and Advanced Hackspace.
• Thriving Community: After graduating from the 12-month Greenhouse programme, support continues through an alumni program and the Imperial Investor Network.
Application Process and Criteria
• Application Deadline: The submission deadline for Cohort 11 is 21 August 2026.
• Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be developing a tech-based climate solution with potential for significant climate impact and commercial growth; have proven science in the lab (TRL 3-5); be UK-incorporated or willing to register upon selection; have at least one full-time founder; and commit to 12 months of programming, including at least one day per week for coaching and implementation.
• Assessment Criteria: Teams are assessed based on their application form and pitch deck, focusing on climate impact, strength of innovation, potential to scale, team capability, and overall suitability for the program.
• The Bootcamp: A two-day, in-person Bootcamp is held to identify and test teams' critical business assumptions through coaching, peer reviews, and presentations.
• Final Selection: The final selection of up to 15 startups is made following the Bootcamp, based on the application, engagement during the Bootcamp, and outputs from the process.

• Applicant Q&As: Prospective applicants can meet the team, learn more about the program, and ask questions during informal Q&A webinars.
• Pitch Pod: The Greenhouse team runs monthly pitch feedback sessions, offering Climate Tech founders an opportunity to receive honest feedback on their pitch.

• Program Statistics: 180 startups have participated in the program, with an 88% survival rate compared to the industry average of 10%. Alumni have raised over $1 billion in investment since 2012, created over 1,600 jobs, and operate across 30 countries.
• Impact Forecast: By 2030, Undaunted alumni are forecast to save 29 million tonnes of cumulative CO2 equivalent, avoid 76 million tonnes of cumulative waste, and save 7.4 million litres of fresh water.
