STARTUPLAB.01 Deep Scale Climate Tech Accelerator

Accelerator for deep tech ventures building climate solutions and expanding to Latin America.

Organizer: Hello Tomorrow SAS.
Deadline: June 1, 2026 (in a month)
Category: Accelerator
Global

The DEEPSCALE Climate Tech Accelerator, powered by Hello Tomorrow and delivered as part of the startuplab.01 Residency Program, offers a structured soft-landing platform in Chile for global deep tech ventures developing climate-related solutions. The initiative is designed to connect Latin American and international deep tech ecosystems, giving startups the support needed to move beyond early validation and prepare for scale. By using Chile as a strategic base, participants can access industries such as mining, energy, infrastructure, and advanced materials while building a pathway into the wider Latin American market.

Program Overview

The accelerator helps startups address the regulatory, technical, commercial, and scale-up challenges specific to deep tech. Through thematic cohorts, the program provides tailored support that combines sector-specific expertise, access to a global deep tech network, and a structured roadmap for internationalisation. The goal is to help ventures prepare for market entry, partnership development, and long-term growth.

Ideal Candidates

• Global deep tech ventures from TRL 6 onward building climate-related solutions.
• Startups planning international expansion that require access to advanced wet and dry lab facilities, collaborative workspace, and structured growth support.
• International companies seeking to expand into Latin America and use Chile as a base for regional operations.

Participant Benefits

• Vertical-Specific Support: Receive guidance on sector-specific regulatory, technical, and commercialisation challenges from experts with experience in deep tech industries.
• Global Deep Tech Ecosystem Access: Connect with investors, corporations, and international networks active in deep tech to support partnerships, pilots, and market entry.
• Internationalisation Focus: Define priority markets, entry strategies, and positioning while aligning team capabilities, technology readiness, and regulatory milestones with a phased expansion plan.
• Operational Labs & Hub Spaces: Access startuplab.01’s hub in Santiago, Chile, including workspaces and facilities designed to support product development and operational readiness.

Key Focus Areas for Climate Solutions

• Climate-Resilient Food Systems: Startups improving how food is produced, processed, and distributed under climate pressure, including areas such as new ingredients, fermentation, soil regeneration, precision agriculture, and alternatives to conventional chemicals.
• Clean Energies & Transition: Solutions supporting decarbonisation through renewable generation, energy storage, grid efficiency, electrification, energy management, and technologies that reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
• Environment & Biodiversity: Technologies focused on monitoring, protecting, and restoring ecosystems, including carbon capture, storage and usage, waste valorization, water desalination, and mining-related solutions.
• Sustainable Cities & Infrastructure: Innovations that reduce the environmental footprint of buildings and infrastructure, including low-carbon materials, circular construction, and improved design and building processes.

Facilities and Resources

Participants receive residency access to nearly 1,000 m² of specialised laboratories and workspaces.
• Wet Lab (485 m²): Includes Level 2 biosecurity spaces, equipment for PCR, electrophoresis, and genetic analysis, laminar flow cabinets, cell culture instruments, tools for compound characterization, refrigeration rooms, a centralized sterilization area, private lab stations, and dedicated storage space.
• Dry Lab (505 m²): Equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, precision cutting tools, soldering stations, milling machines, electronic development kits, CAD design and simulation software, a CNC router, and warehouse space for supplies.
• Flexible Workspace (4,000 m²): Four floors designed for collaboration, including private and flexible desks, meeting rooms, individual booths, an auditorium, an event hall, lockers, kitchenettes, and informal work areas.
