Eligibility Criteria

• Sector Focus: Applicants must be active in AgriTech or FoodTech.
• Impact: The startup should be addressing a relevant social, health, or environmental need.
• Innovation: Must be developing a highly innovative technology or product.
• Stage: Applicants should be beyond the idea phase, with a prototype or MVP.
• Team: A minimum of two founders must be able to participate for the full program duration.
• Ambition: Must have the ambition to scale and grow fast.
• Commitment: Applicants must show full commitment to participate in all program elements.

Application Process

• Initial Intake: Applicants first complete a brief intake form, which takes 5-10 minutes. This is followed by a quick eligibility check.
• Full Application: If a potential match is identified, the startup is invited to fill out a more in-depth application form with approximately 30 questions, requiring 45-60 minutes, plus submission of a pitch deck, business model canvas, and financial projections.
• Selection Day Invitation: Within several days of the application deadline, approximately 20 startups will be invited to a Selection Day.
• Selection Day: Each invited startup presents in three separate sessions covering Team, Product & Technology, and Market & Customers.
• Final Notification: The best-scoring startups are offered a spot in the program, with results communicated within two days after the Selection Day.

Program Commitments and Costs

• Costs and Equity: The program is free of charge and does not take any equity or upsides. It is backed by public and private funding. Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses.
• Expected Commitment: In return for the support, participants are expected to make sufficient time available to attend most sessions and actively engage with the program.
• Team Requirements: A minimum of two fully dedicated team members is preferred for the full duration of the program.
• International Applicants: Startups from all over the world are eligible to apply. The program accommodates different time zones.
• Location Requirements: The program is hybrid. While participants are welcome in Wageningen anytime, physical attendance is expected from at least one founder during the kick-off week and for the live Demo Day.
