The Sisu Launchpad is a high-impact accelerator program designed to help ambitious international startups enter the Finnish market and connect with the broader Nordic and EU startup ecosystems. Organized by Sisu Factory, the program runs twice a year alongside major startup events like Slush and Arctic15, offering participants a unique blend of mentorship, training, and investor access.
About the Program
Sisu Launchpad provides international founders with a first-hand opportunity to explore the Finnish startup scene before relocation. The program is built around two components:
1. Online Sessions – October 2025
- Three interactive online sessions led by Finnish startup ecosystem experts
- Insights into market opportunities and cultural nuances of doing business in Finland
- Practical strategies for growth, scalability, and market entry
2. Onsite Experience – Helsinki, 17–21 November 2025
- One-week intensive program during Slush 2025, one of Europe’s largest startup events
- Free ticket to Slush 2025, unlocking top-tier networking opportunities
- Hands-on workshops and one-on-one mentorship sessions
- Visits to local startups, as well as direct meetings with investors, partners, and industry leaders

Who Can Apply
The program is open to 20 startups from outside the EU that meet the following criteria:
- At least two founders with an innovative, scalable business idea
- Interest in expanding into Finland and the EU market
- Commitment to attend both online sessions and the onsite program in Helsinki
- Motivation to build lasting relationships within the Finnish startup community
