AfriLabs, backed by Visa Foundation, has launched the RevUp Women Initiative – Nigeria Edition, an enterprise-development programme designed to accelerate early-stage, women-led startups and SMEs in Agribusiness and E-commerce.


Programme Overview

  • Format: 12-week hybrid accelerator combining virtual sessions and in-person events.
  • Cohort size: 150 women entrepreneurs across Lagos, Abuja and Abia.
  • Focus sectors:
    • Agribusiness – tech-enabled farming, processing, logistics, ag-fintech, etc.
    • E-commerce – online retail, marketplaces, digital service providers, subscription models.

  • Tailored capacity-building modules on growth, market expansion and investment readiness.
  • Access to a pan-African network of female mentors and the wider AfriLabs ecosystem.
  • Visibility to investors and funding channels.
  • Funding pool: $24 000 awarded to six standout participants
    • $5 000 each for three first-place winners
    • $3 000 each for three runners-up
  • Opportunities to showcase businesses during and after the programme.

Eligibility

  • Women-led startups or SMEs registered and operating in Nigeria.
  • Early-stage businesses in Agribusiness or E-commerce are using technology or innovative models.
