Qatar FinTech Hub (QFTH), a national initiative managed by Qatar Development Bank and supported by the Qatar Central Bank, continues to play a key role in advancing the country’s FinTech landscape. Since its launch in 2020, QFTH has provided structured support to more than 100 FinTech startups globally. As it opens applications for Wave 7 of its Incubation and Acceleration programs, QFTH aims to further its mission of positioning Qatar as a leading FinTech hub in the region.

QFTH operates as a centralized platform for FinTech innovation and entrepreneurship in Qatar. It works in close collaboration with strategic partners such as Qatar Financial Centre and aligns with national initiatives like the Qatar National Development Strategy and the National FinTech Strategy.

Program Overview
FinTech Incubation & Acceleration (FIA) Programs
QFTH offers two tailored tracks designed to support FinTech startups at different stages of development:
1. Incubation Program
- Target: Startups in early or MVP (Minimum Viable Product) stage
- Support: Foundational workshops, early-stage business modeling, and regulatory guidance
2. Acceleration Program
- Target: Startups with live products and existing market traction
- Support: Scaling strategies, partnerships, and investor access
Common Features Across Both Tracks:
- Duration: 12-week structured program
- Format: Skill-building and specialized workshops
- Mentorship: 1:1 guidance from subject matter experts
- Business Development: Opportunities to engage with key ecosystem stakeholders
- Investment: Up to USD 170K in pre-seed funding per startup, with follow-on investment support
- Regulatory Support: Assistance with obtaining commercial and regulatory licenses
