Potencia UP: Preparación para Inversiones de Impacto is an initiative by Potencia Ventures in partnership with Artemisia, designed to strengthen Latin American impact businesses. The program offers an accessible path for entrepreneurs to prepare for attracting investment. This fully free, online program provides content, mentorship with specialists, connections with investors, and practical tools to make the fundraising process more strategic and aligned with the business's current stage.
Program Structure
The program is divided into three phases, with companies that demonstrate the best performance in each stage advancing to access further benefits. The stages are as follows:
• Phase 1 | Training: 100 selected companies will participate in a 100% online program featuring approximately 8 hours of content with Latin American specialists. The curriculum includes 4 practical modules on Product-Market Fit, impact measurement, financial management, capital raising modeling, pitch decks, and negotiation strategies. Participants will engage in practical challenges, gain access to a continental community of entrepreneurs, and receive a certificate of participation.
• Phase 2 | Mentorships: Up to 10 standout businesses will advance to receive individualized support, a diagnostic and action plan, assistance in preparing capital-raising documents, and mentorships with specialists to strengthen their business model and growth strategies.
• Phase 3 | Due Diligence and Investment: Up to 5 finalist businesses will be selected for a due diligence process with Potencia Ventures and Artemisia. These finalists will have the potential to receive an investment between USD $100,000 and USD $500,000, along with connections to co-investors and increased visibility within the ecosystem.
