Program Structure and Commitment
• Program Duration: 12 weeks.
• Company Stage: Pre-seed.
• Cohort Size: Intentionally small cohorts of approximately 20 teams, with a maximum of 30, to ensure personalized attention.
• Location: The program is conducted in person, and all participating companies are required to relocate to the SF Bay Area for its duration.
• Time Commitment: A minimum of three dedicated hours per week for a weekly check-in, a speaker event, and a one-hour meeting with a dedicated Pear Partner, in addition to other interactions.
Investment and Core Benefits
• Capital Investment: Companies receive an investment ranging from $250,000 to $2 million, determined by their stage.
• Founder Mentorship: Participants work one-on-one with a dedicated partner who has relevant industry and entrepreneurial experience.
• Sales Motion Development: Hands-on guidance is provided to establish a scalable sales process, covering areas like Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), customer discovery, positioning, and messaging.

Key Program Events
• Camp Pear: The program begins with a 3-day immersive retreat for founders to connect with their cohort before the 12-week session starts.
• Demo Day: Each cohort concludes with a Demo Day, providing a platform to pitch to investors. This includes an in-person event for GPs only, followed by a virtual Demo Day accessible to a wider investor audience.
Application and Eligibility
• Current Session: Applications are open for PearX S26.
• Application Deadline: The regular deadline is April 12, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST.
• Eligibility: The program is open to any founder starting a company. Solo founders are encouraged to apply and can receive assistance with co-founder searches.
• Prior Funding: While most companies have not raised capital before joining, those that have raised up to $2 million are eligible. Companies can also raise additional capital alongside the PearX investment.
• Selection Process: Applications are reviewed by an investor on the team. Selected candidates proceed to a single interview, followed by a partner meeting where they will pitch to the team.
Operational Details
• Program Cadence: Cohorts are run twice a year, with a Summer session starting around July and a Winter session starting around January. Support for funded companies can begin immediately, even before the formal cohort kicks off.
• Team Collaboration: Each company works with at least two partners from the Pear team, along with operations and support staff. Partner assignments are based on vertical and relevant experience.
• Competitive Policy: To foster a collaborative environment, the program does not accept direct competitors into the same cohort.
