Funding Details
• Financial Assistance: Eligible startups can receive one-time financial assistance of up to ₹20 lakhs.
• Disbursement: The funding is released in four equal installments.
• Use of Funds: Capital can be used for activities such as developing prototypes, launching innovative products or services, marketing, and scaling up business operations.
Eligibility Criteria
• Registration: Applicants must be startups registered on the J&K Startup Portal.
• Recognition: Startups must be recognized by the Nodal Agency.
• Funding History: A startup is eligible to receive seed funding from JKEDI only once.
• Partner Restrictions: The entity, or any partner holding more than a 49% partnership stake, must not have previously received seed funding under any JKEDI scheme and must not be a defaulter with JKEDI.
Evaluation and Oversight
• Evaluation Criteria: Funding is provided based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the Start-up Policy operational guidelines.
• Approval Body: All funding proposals are appraised and approved by the Start-up Task Force Committee.
• Monitoring: The progress of supported startups is monitored by JKEDI or the concerned incubator.
