IPHatch® UK is an open-innovation competition designed to give startups access to granted patents from world-renowned technology companies. The program aims to help emerging businesses build and scale by leveraging established intellectual property for commercialization and expansion.
Application Details
• Application Deadline: 13 June 2026
• Submission Requirements: Interested startups must submit their pitch deck before the stated deadline.
• Application Platform: Applications are collected exclusively through IPHatch®’s partner platform, F6S, via www.iphatchday.com.
Program Timeline
• Launch Event in Birmingham: 19 March 2026. This private launch event includes a panel discussion, an IP portfolio summary, and presentations on past winners’ journeys.
• Series of Thematic Workshops: Starting from March 2026, these regular monthly events include the IPHatch® Challenge Briefing, key business knowledge sharing, deep dives into technology portfolios, and IPHatchathon® business modelling workshops using the Business Model Canvas.
• Pitch Day: 25 & 26 June 2026. Participants will pitch their business ideas to a judging panel that includes IP Owners, Investors, Strategic Partners, Government Agencies, Incubators, and Accelerators.
• Final Results Announcement: To be announced after the tabulation and simulation process, followed by equity negotiation and agreement signing.
