Financial Incentives and Support

  • Startups onboarded to the program receive AED 250,000 worth of in-kind incentives in the form of support services.
  • Participants receive AED 250,000 in cash in exchange for equity through a SAFE note.
  • High-performing startups committed to Abu Dhabi are eligible for a top-up of up to AED 250,000 in exchange for additional equity upon completion of the one-year program.

Application Timeline and Selection Process

  • Current Intake: Applications are currently being accepted for Cohort 19.
  • Deadline: The application deadline is February 1, 2026.
  • Application Review: Sourcing and selection teams review applications between November 2025 and April 2026, with feedback typically provided within three months.
  • Selection Rounds: The process includes four stages: initial application review, meetings with the Hub71 team, evaluations by Hub71 partners, and a final selection committee.
  • Onboarding and Launch: Selected startups begin onboarding in June 2026, with the formal 12-month program starting in September 2026.
  • Rolling Admissions: Applications submitted after the deadline are automatically considered for the subsequent cohort.

Submission Requirements

  • Completion of all required fields in the official application form.
  • A comprehensive pitch deck in PDF format covering the problem, solution, value proposition, business model, competition, market traction, and funds raised.
  • Detailed information regarding the founding team and specific plans for growth within Hub71 and Abu Dhabi.
  • A commitment from at least one founder to relocate long-term and build a team out of Abu Dhabi.

  • Growth Acceleration (4 weeks): Focused sessions on fundraising, market expansion, and scaling operations.
  • Fundraising Showcase: A dedicated event to meet venture capitalists, culminating in a public Demo Day.
  • Ongoing Support: Continuous access to vetted service providers and flexible incentives throughout the program duration.
