Program Participation and Structure

• Application Process: Prospective participants must submit an application and will be notified if they are accepted to join the hackathon.
• Challenge Selection: Participants do not need to have a pre-formed idea. During the event, a selection of challenges will be presented for teams to choose from.
• Development Sprint: The core of the event is an intensive 24-hour online hackathon. Participants are provided with compute credits and other necessary resources to build their solutions.
• Mentorship and Networking: Attendees can receive hands-on assistance from world-class mentors, participate in workshops, and connect with a global network of builders.
• Finalist Pitches: The top teams are selected as finalists to present their solutions live to a panel of judges, which includes representatives from venture capital firms such as Greylock.

Challenge Tracks

Participants can choose from two distinct challenge styles, each with dedicated prizes.
• Corporate Track: Teams work on challenges provided by corporate partners.
• Venture Track: Teams select one of more than 10 available challenges, competing for a dedicated venture track prize and the opportunity to advance to an incubation track.

Awards, Benefits, and Post-Hackathon Opportunities

• Prize Pool: The competition features over $28,000 in prize money, benefits, and API credits.
• Cash Award: A direct monetary prize of $3,500 is available.
• API Credits: A total of $160,000 in API credits are provided by partners including OpenAI, Cursor, and Lovable, with $25,000 in OpenAI API credits specifically highlighted as a prize.
• Career Opportunities: Outstanding participants may be invited to join a talent network to explore potential hiring opportunities.
• Venture Track Program: Following the hackathon, selected teams are invited into the venture track, a program designed to help turn prototypes into viable ventures through ongoing support and mentorship.
