The Founder Institute, a global startup accelerator, is accepting applications for its Toronto Summer 2026 Semester. Since its Toronto launch in 2014, the program has facilitated the establishment of 10 companies in the region. The program is designed for individuals seeking expert training and guidance to launch a technology startup in Toronto and is open to a wide range of founders, including those who are solo, pre-idea, or currently employed full-time.
Program Overview
• Program Structure: A four-month, part-time program where entrepreneurs “learn by doing” through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback.
• Flexibility: Participants are not required to leave their full-time jobs, allowing them to build a business without significant financial risk.
• Mentorship: Access to a large network of business mentors for guidance and feedback.
• Global Network: In 17 years of operation, over 9,000 graduate companies across 200 cities have utilized the Founder Institute to validate ideas, develop plans, refine products, build advisory boards, and prepare for seed funding.

• Early Application Deadline: May 10, 2026.
• Early Application Benefits: Applicants who apply by the deadline will have their application fees waived (a $50 value) and will be eligible for Founder Institute Fellowships.
