Falling Walls Lab is hosting its Denmark event, providing a platform for innovators to present groundbreaking ideas that positively impact science and society. Participants are invited to pitch their innovative concept in a compelling three-minute presentation. This initiative is part of the global Falling Walls Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting science, business, and society to tackle significant challenges and discover which future walls are next to fall.

Eligibility Criteria
• Eligible Applicants: Students and early-career professionals of all disciplines who are 18 years or older.
• Formal Requirements: Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following criteria:
- Currently enrolled at a university as a student.
- Received a Bachelor’s degree no more than 10 years ago.
- Received a Master’s degree no more than 7 years ago.
- Received a PhD no more than 5 years ago.
• Degree Equivalency: An MD (medical degree without a doctoral dissertation) is considered equivalent to a Master’s degree. A Dr. med. (medical degree with a doctoral dissertation) is considered equivalent to a PhD.
Application Guidelines
• Program Type: Falling Walls Lab is a pitch competition, not a grant agency.
• Location: Applicants are advised to apply to the Falling Walls Lab closest to their location. Travel costs to and from local Labs are not covered by the central organization.
• Submission Language: All applications must be submitted in English.
• Application Limits: Group applications and multiple applications from a single individual are not permitted.
• Expenses: Travel and accommodation expenses for international Falling Walls Labs will not be covered unless otherwise stated by the local organizers.
• Participation: This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; past participants are not eligible to apply again.
