New for 2026: Project Starting Points
For the first time, projects are not required to start from zero. Participants may bring and build upon existing code. The updated rules allow for several starting points:
• From Scratch: Begin with a new, empty repository.
• Extend Open Source: Bring an existing open-source repository you maintain and ship a new feature.
• Ship a Feature: Build one new feature on top of an existing product during the event and release it as open source.
Prizes and Partners
Prizes are offered by event partners, with individual prize pools ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. Partners include 1inch, The Graph, Yellow, Sui, World, 0G, Uniswap Foundation, and ENS.
