Entrepreneurs First is a global talent investor and company builder that backs exceptional individuals before they necessarily have a cofounder or startup idea. An upcoming Winter cohort will take place in Bangalore, offering selected participants a full-time, in-person company-building program focused on finding a cofounder, developing an idea, and building a company from scratch.
Program Schedule and Format
• Location: Bangalore, India
• Cohort: Winter 2027
• Start Date: January 2027
• Format: Full-time and in-person
Participants receive hands-on support throughout the company-building journey, including guidance on cofounder selection, idea development, company building, and fundraising.
Companies selected for pre-seed investment may receive $125,000 via a post-money SAFE for 8% equity, with an optional additional $125,000 through an uncapped MFN SAFE, bringing the potential total investment to $250,000. Funded companies are expected to build from San Francisco from the pre-seed stage onward.
Application and Selection Details
• Early Application Deadline: 5 October 2026
• Selection Process: The selection process consists of three rounds. Applicants who submit by the early deadline will be considered for the first selection round.
• Application Process: Applicants first submit their initial details and receive a verification email that allows them to continue and complete the remaining application questions.
The program is open to exceptional technical and entrepreneurial talent and is sector agnostic. Applicants do not need to already have a cofounder or fully developed startup idea when applying.
