The eCommerce North Innovator Challenge is a free six-week program designed for early-stage, direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce ventures looking to increase sales and scale their businesses. Participants take part in an intensive program focused on strengthening their business pitch, growing their email list, and optimizing their website for improved sales conversions. The program helps founders better capture consumer demand, unlock new sales opportunities, and prepare their businesses for the next stage of growth.


Program Highlights

• Mentorship and Skill Building: Receive mentorship and coaching from experienced professionals at Moneris and Elevate. Through practical sessions and hands-on learning, participants will develop skills in areas such as social media marketing, email marketing, sales, SEO, and website optimization.

• Valuable Connections: Access the eCommerce North alumni network, build relationships with fellow entrepreneurs, connect with industry experts, and gain opportunities for introductions to relevant partners and collaborators.

• Virtual Pitch Competition: Present your venture to a panel of judges during the final pitch competition and compete for one of three CAD $1,500 grants to support your business’s continued growth and development.

Eligibility Criteria

• Business Age: Open to e-commerce ventures that are 0–5 years old.

• Founder Profile: Founders should demonstrate strong entrepreneurial commitment, whether they are building their business alongside a full-time job or working on it full-time.

• Industry Sectors: Open to D2C businesses across a range of consumer sectors, including beauty, wellness, apparel, home goods, food, and other consumer products.

• Online Presence: Applicants must have an active and engaging social media presence.
