The Digitalisierung grant supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vienna that want to modernize their business through digital solutions. It helps companies improve internal workflows, value-creation processes, digital customer interactions, and other operational areas.
Eligible Activities
Projects must be based on a coherent digitalization plan. Eligible costs may include:
- Development and implementation of digital solutions
- Software and licenses
- Hardware required for the digitalization project
- External consulting services
- External training and qualification for employees using the new solutions
Standalone website or webshop projects, standard office software, standard hardware, internal staff costs, and routine operating expenses are not eligible.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be existing small or medium-sized enterprises from any sector that have had a business establishment in Vienna for at least one year at the time of application.
Funding Details
The grant can cover up to 50% of eligible project costs, with a maximum funding amount of €50,000 per project.
Projects must have eligible costs of at least €10,000. The maximum project duration is two years.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted online before the project begins. Eligible proposals are evaluated by an independent jury, which selects the strongest projects in a competitive process.

Applications can be submitted on an ongoing basis until 31 December 2026.
