The Ministry of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation, has launched the "Be a Creative Entrepreneur" initiative. This program is designed to discover, qualify, and support young individuals with entrepreneurial ideas, guiding them through a comprehensive training program to transform their concepts into successful projects. The initiative aims to foster a culture of innovation and empower youth to establish their own ventures, thereby contributing to the national economy.


Program Objectives

• Discover and qualify young individuals with entrepreneurial ideas and assist in transforming them into successful ventures.
• Promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation, empowering youth to establish their own businesses.
• Support the national economy and encourage the development of a knowledge-based economy.
• Target the participation of over 2,000 young men and women from various governorates across Egypt.
• Expand access to entrepreneurship opportunities and encourage wider participation in innovation-driven ventures.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must possess a clear entrepreneurial project idea in the industrial, agricultural, commercial, or technological sectors.
• The age of applicants must be between 20 and 35 years, with a preference given to graduates.
• Male applicants are required to provide documentation confirming their military service status.
• A commitment to full-time availability for the entire duration of the initiative is mandatory.
• Applications that do not meet all the specified conditions will not be considered.

Participant Benefits and Support

• Access to professional training in entrepreneurship and innovation.
• Evaluation and judging of ideas by specialized committees.
• Networking opportunities with investors and supporting organizations.
• Financial and technical support of up to EGP 200,000 for selected projects during the incubation period.
• The top 10 startups from the first edition received an incubation program lasting up to nine months, along with funding and logistical support.
• Post-training follow-up and support to ensure the long-term sustainability of the projects.
• The best participants will receive rewards at the conclusion of the program.

Application Details

• Interested applicants can register for the second phase through the initiative’s online application portal.
• The submission deadline is Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10:00 PM.
• All submissions must be completed before the deadline, as late entries may not be taken into consideration.
