Zinara, a Delhi NCR based lab-grown diamond jewelry brand, has raised ₹3.61 crore (around US$380,000) in a Pre-Seed funding round. Inflection Point Ventures led the investment, with participation from Nine Jewellery, actor Nikita Dutta, and other angel investors. The fresh capital is intended to support team expansion, marketing initiatives, and supply chain improvements as the company scales across India.

Investor Participation and Funding Structure

The Pre-Seed round marks an early institutional vote of confidence in Zinara's digital-first approach to diamond jewelry. Inflection Point Ventures led the round, while Nine Jewellery, actor Nikita Dutta, and several angel investors also joined the cap table. The presence of both strategic and individual investors reflects broader interest in brands that combine accessible pricing with contemporary design.

Capital Allocation and Operational Priorities

Zinara plans to use the newly raised capital to expand its team, accelerate marketing activities, and strengthen its supply chain infrastructure. The company also intends to broaden its product portfolio and increase brand presence across multiple Indian markets. These operational improvements are designed to support a scalable digital-first model that reaches customers nationwide while improving order fulfillment.

Product Portfolio and Customer Proposition

The brand focuses on everyday diamond jewelry made with lab-grown diamonds and 18K gold vermeil. Zinara currently offers more than 400 designs and has crossed ₹1 crore in annual recurring revenue, indicating early product-market fit. Customers also receive a lifetime warranty, buyback options, and exchange options, which help reduce purchase hesitation and build long-term loyalty.

Founder Background and Leadership

Zinara was founded by Harshit Abrol and Sumanyu Vyas, who bring complementary experience from consumer goods and high-growth technology platforms. Abrol previously worked at P&G and Apnaklub, while Vyas has held roles at Blinkit and Classplus. Their combined expertise is expected to guide the brand through its next phase of team building, operational scaling, and national expansion.

Market Tailwinds in Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds continue to gain acceptance among younger, digitally engaged consumers in India's jewelry market. Zinara positions itself at the center of this shift by offering design-led products at accessible price points and with minimal friction in the purchasing journey. The company's digital-first model aligns with changing buying behaviors and the rising demand for everyday diamond jewelry.

Investor Perspective on Zinara's Potential

Inflection Point Ventures has invested more than ₹900 crore across over 280 startups, making it one of India's most active early-stage investors. IPV co-founder Vinay Bansal noted that Zinara sits at the intersection of three shifts: design-conscious consumption, growing acceptance of lab-grown diamonds, and demand for accessible price points. This combination, according to Bansal, is shaping the future of jewelry consumption in India.

With the Pre-Seed round, Zinara gains the capital needed to strengthen its team, marketing, and supply chain while expanding its product presence across India. Its digital-first approach, customer-friendly policies, and expanding catalog of over 400 designs position the company for sustainable growth in a competitive market. As it builds on more than ₹1 crore in annual recurring revenue, Zinara aims to become a recognized name in accessible everyday diamond jewelry.
