Sales prospecting platform Zeliq has raised a €7 million seed extension led by The Moon Venture, bringing its total funding to €21 million in under three years. The round included participation from Julien Jean (JJCapinvest), Sylvestre Blavet (Freelance.com), existing investors Ora Global and Cleo Ventures, and several business angels and family offices. Alongside the funding, the company announced the beta launch of Zelia, an AI agent built to help sales teams identify, enrich, and contact prospects more efficiently.

Addressing Sales Tool Sprawl

Zeliq targets the fragmentation that burdens mid-market sales teams, who often rely on separate tools for prospecting, enrichment, and outreach. Its platform unifies these activities in a single interface and centralises more than 450 million contact and company records that are enriched in real time. The system also manages email and phone outreach and learns from each team's data over time.

Strategic Vision and Human Oversight

CEO and co-founder Dorian Ciavarella said sales organisations have spent ten years stacking SaaS tools, creating complexity, more time switching between systems, and less time actually selling. He argued that the next generation of sales platforms will be built around AI agents capable of executing end-to-end tasks under human supervision. According to Ciavarella, the best salespeople will not be replaced by artificial intelligence, but will work alongside it.

Launch of Zelia

Zelia was introduced in beta after more than a year of development and tens of thousands of user tests. The AI agent can search for, enrich, and contact prospects based on instructions from salespeople while also providing guidance on day-to-day work. It can scan the web for buying signals from prospects to help teams determine the right moment to make contact.

Through a Model Context Protocol connector, Zelia can operate within the large language models and other tools sales teams already use. This interoperability allows teams to adopt the agent without abandoning their existing workflows entirely. The company describes this capability as moving outreach timing from guesswork toward signal-driven decisions.

Investment Plans and Expansion

Zeliq will use the new funding to accelerate development of its AI infrastructure and its Agentic Revenue Workspace, where sales and marketing teams retain control of strategy while AI agents handle operational tasks. The company plans to launch its first full suite of AI sales agents and double its product and technology teams over the next year. It also intends to continue its European expansion and deepen partnerships with CRM providers.

A More Interoperable Approach

Zeliq's positioning sits within a broader wave of agentic sales and revenue tools, where AI agents handle execution while humans retain strategic control. What differentiates Zeliq's pitch is its Model Context Protocol connector detail, which signals a genuine effort to integrate with existing enterprise AI tooling rather than operating as a closed, standalone system. This more open approach could matter as sales teams increasingly manage multiple AI tools instead of consolidating onto a single platform.

With its latest funding and the beta release of Zelia, Zeliq is moving to address both sales tool fragmentation and the growing demand for agentic revenue workflows. The company's focus on human supervision and interoperability may help it stand out in an increasingly crowded market. The coming year will test whether its AI agents can deliver practical value while the company expands its product suite and European presence.
