Tokyo Metropolitan Government has accepted xRsion Inc.., an entertainment startup based in Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture, into the 11th cohort of its APT Women accelerator. The company, led by CEO Junna Shimafuji, operates Favee, a digital collection application that gives users new ways to enjoy branded and character items. Selection into the program positions the startup to strengthen its growth, fundraising, and international expansion plans.

About APT Women

APT Women, formally the Acceleration Program in Tokyo for Women, is designed to help female founders scale their businesses through structured education and mentorship. Zero One Booster manages the initiative while Globis Corporation supports the educational curriculum. Since its launch, the program has selected 320 companies, and its alumni have raised approximately 28.7 billion yen in cumulative funding.

The program has also generated more than 1,190 collaborations between participating startups and large corporations. The 11th cohort will begin domestic sessions in September 2026, with 11 required lectures and 5 elective courses. In January 2027, selected participants will attend an overseas program in New York and Singapore that lasts about ten days.

Company Background and Favee

xRsion Inc. is an entertainment startup focused on creating new ways to enjoy content. Its main product, Favee, allows users to digitally collect corporate products, character goods, voice items, and other merchandise. The app aims to recreate the excitement of owning physical goods while supporting the appeal of real products and expanding their value.

Favee was born from the fan desire to have a simple place to store personal likes and favorite items. The platform focuses on delivering a digital experience that carries the same sense of joy as holding physical merchandise. Through this approach, the company hopes to broaden engagement between content owners, brands, and consumers.

Leadership Comment

Representative Director Junna Shimafuji said the company was honored to be selected for the 11th APT Women cohort. She explained that Favee began as a service close to fans who wanted a place to collect what they love without complexity. Moving forward, she aims to accelerate business growth so the service can reach more users.

Shimafuji also stated that the mentoring and network provided by APT Women will help xRsion prepare for the next stage, including fundraising and international expansion. She expressed a clear intention to use the program as a bridge toward a larger market presence. The announcement highlights the company's commitment to scaling beyond its early community.

Newsworthiness and Future Outlook

Participation in APT Women offers xRsion access to Tokyo's startup ecosystem and a track record of supporting female entrepreneurs. The program's combination of domestic coursework and overseas exposure is intended to help ventures refine strategy and build global relationships. For xRsion, the selection represents a milestone in its effort to evolve from an early-stage service into a sustainable entertainment business.

The selection of xRsion Inc. for APT Women underscores the growing attention on female-led startups in Japan's entertainment and content industries. By using the program's resources, the company hopes to enhance Favee's user base and prepare for funding and international growth. As the accelerator moves into its 11th cycle, stakeholders will watch whether this support translates into tangible expansion for the digital collection platform.
