WiserGates Technologies Limited, a wealth fintech headquartered at the Dubai International Financial Centre, has opened its Pre-Seed funding round at a US$30 million valuation. The company has secured anchor commitments from Tokyo-based NewVision Japan Co. Ltd. and London-based 1CS Holdings Limited. Founded by Muhammad Refayet Chowdhury and Md Nazibur Rahman, WiserGates aims to democratize wealth, ownership, and financial literacy through fractional blockchain-based investing.
Anchor Backing for the Pre-Seed Round
The Pre-Seed round is anchored by commitments from NewVision Japan Co. Ltd., based in Tokyo, and 1CS Holdings Limited, based in London. These early backers provide WiserGates with an international investor base as it advances its platform strategy. The funding will support the company's first market deployments and the continued development of its NANO Assets platform.
How NANO Assets Works
WiserGates positions its flagship platform, NANO Assets, at the intersection of real-world asset tokenization, inclusive investing, and financial education. The platform converts small pools of everyday capital into fractional, blockchain-based ownership of small, profitable, cash-generating businesses. These businesses operate across regulated markets and sectors such as farming, laundries, restaurants, groceries, gyms, and commodities trading to ensure diversification.
Early Traction and SME Opportunity
According to the company, more than US$2 million has already been invested across over 10 companies and other asset classes during the past five years. WiserGates sees SMEs as central to its model, especially in the UAE, where more than 557,000 such businesses operate. The UAE is targeting 1 million SMEs by 2030, and the platform plans to launch first in the UAE and the United Kingdom.
Leadership on Financial Inclusion
WiserGates Co-founder and CEO Muhammad Refayet Chowdhury said the company's mission is to democratize wealth, ownership, capital, and financial literacy for everyone, everywhere. He described financial literacy as a basic human right rather than a luxury reserved for a few. Co-founder and COO Md Nazibur Rahman added that every WiserGates initiative is evaluated against one question: does it give every individual a fair shot at building real wealth?
Dubai Alignment and Roadmap
WiserGates credits Dubai Chambers and DIFC for early support in establishing its home in Dubai. The company says its roadmap aligns closely with the Dubai Economic Agenda, known as D33, which aims to double the emirate's economy by 2033 and position it among the world's three leading financial centers. The platform's underlying goal is to convert captive capital into participative capital across all socioeconomic backgrounds.
The WiserGates Ecosystem
WiserGates describes itself as a next-generation fintech research, development, innovation, and impact platform operating across Asia, the GCC, and beyond. It is building an integrated ecosystem where financial literacy, wealth creation, ethical media, and social impact form a continuous cycle of empowerment. The company connects learning, investing, storytelling, and giving into a single journey rather than treating them as separate industries.
With anchor investors from Japan and the United Kingdom and a US$30 million valuation, WiserGates is moving to position fractional SME ownership as a new template for inclusive finance. Its initial focus on the UAE and the United Kingdom over the next 12 to 18 months will test whether small-scale investors can participate directly in productive physical assets. If the model scales, it could offer a practical bridge between blockchain-based tokenization and the everyday needs of small businesses and communities.
