Wiremind, a transportation and events technology specialist, has secured €35 million in its first strategic funding round, marking its first external capital since being founded in 2014. The investment brings in IronWave, formerly Wendel Growth, Bpifrance Investissement through its Large Venture fund, and Seaya Andromeda. Co-founders Colin Girault-Matz and Charles Pierre remain majority shareholders and retain control of the company.

A Strategic First Round

The round brings in 3 new investors: IronWave, formerly Wendel Growth, Bpifrance Investissement through its Large Venture fund, and Seaya Andromeda. Since its founding, Wiremind has operated without outside funding while remaining profitable. The company said the capital will support two strategic priorities: international expansion and deeper investment in artificial intelligence research and development.

Commercial Momentum

Wiremind has been fully self-financed and profitable since its launch in 2014. Revenue grew 67% across the business in 2025, while the company now serves more than 80 clients after adding 23 during the year. The strong performance reflects growing demand for its AI-first revenue management, inventory, and distribution systems.

Founder-Led Origins

Colin Girault-Matz and Charles Pierre met in 2012 in the revenue management department at SNCF and founded Wiremind in 2014. They identified an opening for solutions that use machine learning to forecast demand and optimize capacity. The founders have leveraged their rail and aviation experience to grow the company while staying self-financed and investing in proprietary research and development.

International Expansion and AI Roadmap

Wiremind plans to continue its growth in South America and extend its presence into the Middle East and Asia Pacific regions. These markets are expected to build on the company's existing deployment success across Europe and North America. The investment will also scale research and development efforts in machine learning, optimization algorithms, and large language models that enhance pricing recommendations and platform usability.

Generative AI Capabilities

Wiremind is integrating generative AI directly into the analytics interfaces of CAYZN and PAXONE. The capabilities include pricing recommendations with structured, explainable reasoning, natural language automation of business rules, and auto-generated performance reports. The company says this makes CAYZN and PAXONE the industry's first platforms to combine mathematical optimization, machine learning, and generative AI in a single transparent system.

Platforms and Market Validation

CAYZN, Wiremind's flagship product, is an AI-first revenue management system used by more than 20 operators including SNCF, Trenitalia, Eurostar, Transavia, and VIA Rail. PAXONE was selected by France's Directorate General for Infrastructure, Transport, and Mobility to power the new national ticketing system for Intercités rail services. EVENTORI, launched in 2022 for clubs and event organizers, grew 140% in 2025 and now serves more than 40 clients.

Investor Confidence

IronWave founder and general partner Victoire Laurenty said Wiremind has built systems that drive revenue for the largest rail and air operators without outside capital. Bpifrance Large Venture investment director Adrien Neel highlighted the company's technological excellence, execution, and ability to renew growth through innovation. Seaya Andromeda partner Pablo Pedrejón noted Wiremind's profitable expansion and its fit with the firm's impact mandate.

With the new funding, Wiremind said it will focus on execution in markets that are currently making technology investment decisions while building next-generation capabilities on its existing machine learning foundation. The company aims to consolidate its leadership in software for passenger transport operators and expand its presence in events. The round marks a new chapter for a business that has scaled profitably with founder control intact.
