Venture Spark, the accelerator program from A2D Ventures, has announced the launch of its second cohort, bolstered by a significant partnership with LINE SCALE UP. Supported by key Thai innovation entities including depa, ExpresSo NB, and InnoSpace, this collaboration aims to provide an unparalleled growth engine for local startups. The initiative is designed to merge elite fundraising preparation with extensive market access, creating a unique advantage for participants.
A Strategic Alliance for Startup Growth
This new coalition addresses fundamental challenges that early-stage companies often encounter, such as perfecting their investment pitch and achieving mass customer acquisition. By uniting Venture Spark's mentorship with LINE's vast digital infrastructure, the program offers a holistic solution to scaling. This integrated approach is set to redefine the growth journey for startups operating within Thailand.
Ankit Upadhyay, Founder of Venture Spark, stated the program offers an 'ultimate unfair advantage' by combining pitch refinement with direct user access. Sirunya Buntornvorapun of LINE Thailand added that the partnership helps overcome distribution barriers by leveraging LINE's 56 million users. Together, they aim to accelerate the path from product-market fit to achieving national scale.
The 'Unfair Advantage' Framework
Participants will receive intensive support through Venture Spark’s 'Pitch Clinic,' where consultants refine business models and pitch decks to global standards. The program culminates in a Demo Day, presenting founders to a curated audience of over 400 global investors and corporate partners. This is complemented by expert public speaking coaching to ensure founders deliver their vision with impact.
The partnership with LINE SCALE UP provides the technological firepower essential for rapid growth. Startups gain pathways to leverage LINE's massive user base through API integration and the LINE MINI App platform. They also receive strategic guidance on mastering chat commerce to drive immediate user acquisition and revenue retention.
Backed by Thailand's Innovation Ecosystem
The initiative is strengthened by an alliance with Thailand’s leading innovation bodies: InnoSpace (Thailand), ExpresSo NB, and the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa). This coalition ensures founders have access to corporate pilot opportunities, government backing, and deep industry networks. Together, they are pioneering a new era of venture building in the country.
InnoSpace focuses on deep-tech companies, while ExpresSo NB, PTT Group's venture arm, connects startups with industrial infrastructure for pilot projects. Completing the trio, depa brings government support through digital infrastructure, regulatory navigation, and matching funds. This trifecta provides comprehensive support from early-stage validation to large-scale deployment.
Seeking Thailand's Next Generation of Innovators
Venture Spark is seeking applications from ambitious technology startups and high-growth Smart Commerce brands building solutions in Thailand. The program targets companies in Fintech, HealthTech, SaaS, and Deep Tech at the pre-seed or seed stage. Ideal candidates should have a minimum viable product ready to scale for a global audience.
The program is open to both Thai nationals and international founders, including expatriates and digital nomads established in the country. This inclusive approach aims to foster a diverse and dynamic cohort capable of driving regional innovation. Applications for Cohort 2 are now open and can be submitted through the Venture Spark website.
The launch of Venture Spark's second cohort marks a significant milestone for Thailand's startup landscape. By creating a powerful synergy between mentorship, corporate partnerships, and mass distribution, the program offers a new blueprint for venture building. This collaborative model is poised to accelerate the growth of promising startups toward national scale and global competitiveness.
