Brazilian healthtech firm Tivita has announced a significant expansion of its leadership team, recruiting top talent from global technology giants including Meta, Nubank, and Stone. This strategic move follows a period of explosive growth, where the company expanded tenfold in 2025 and processed over R$250 million in payments. The new hires are set to spearhead the company's next phase of development, focusing on artificial intelligence, fintech solutions, and customer experience for its platform that automates financial and administrative tasks for medical clinics.

Advancing AI with Expertise from Meta

Leading the new wave of talent is Rodrigo Cravo, a former Meta executive with a decade of experience in WhatsApp's global operations. Cravo will lead the development of Tivita's AI agents and products, a core component of the company's strategy. His immediate focus will be on enhancing 'Agente Júlia,' an autonomous agent that operates on WhatsApp to manage appointments, patient instructions, and registrations for Tivita's network of over 1,000 clinics across Brazil.

Cravo's expertise in building large-scale conversational experiences is expected to accelerate the evolution of Tivita's AI capabilities. The company leverages WhatsApp to reduce adoption friction, as the application is already integral to the daily routines of both healthcare teams and patients. According to CPO and co-founder Amilton Paglia, bringing in a leader with direct experience in global conversational products is crucial for scaling the platform and internal processes effectively.

Strengthening Fintech and Engineering Foundations

To bolster its fintech division, Tivita has appointed Bruno Pimenta, formerly of Nubank, as its new engineering leader. Pimenta is tasked with overseeing the technical architecture of the company's financial services, bringing his experience in building critical, scalable, and highly reliable systems. This is a vital role as Tivita's automation platform becomes increasingly central to the essential back-office operations of healthcare providers, handling complex and regulated financial processes.

Elevating the Customer Experience

The company is also enhancing its client-facing operations with the addition of Chádia Pirola and Gustavo Henrique Basto. Pirola, with a background at Stone and Yalo, will lead the implementation department, ensuring the platform is customized to meet the unique needs of each client. Her team will adapt the product to specific medical specialties, payment methods, and operational models, transforming an agnostic solution into a tailored tool for each clinic.

Meanwhile, Gustavo Henrique Basto, who joins from nstech, will head the customer success area. His primary mission is to ensure that clients derive tangible value from Tivita's services, thereby improving satisfaction, retention, and growth. Basto will be responsible for resolving client challenges and optimizing their results, solidifying the company's relationship with its growing customer base and reinforcing its market position.

Positioning for Future Scalability

These strategic hires signal Tivita's commitment to building a robust technical and operational structure capable of supporting its ambitious growth targets. Having already automated over eight million tasks in the healthcare sector, the company is preparing for further expansion into more complex operations. The new leadership team is integral to Tivita's 2026 strategy, which involves handling higher volumes of interactions through the intensive use of advanced digital agents.

In conclusion, Tivita's recruitment of seasoned leaders from the technology industry marks a pivotal moment in its journey to revolutionize healthcare administration in Brazil. By investing in top-tier expertise in AI, fintech, and customer relations, the company is not only consolidating its recent successes but also laying a solid foundation for future innovation. This strategic enhancement of its team positions Tivita to scale its impact and tackle the complex operational challenges within the healthcare sector.
