TimBuckDo, a Bengaluru-based on-demand convenience platform, has raised a bridge funding round backed by Srinath Setty through his family office Trasa Ventures and Adarsh Narahari, founder and managing director of Primus Senior Living. The company did not disclose the exact cheque size, but media reports indicate a post-money valuation of Rs 150 crore. The fresh capital is intended to support expansion as TimBuckDo prepares for a planned five million dollar Series A raise in the coming months.

Strategic investors and sector expertise

Srinath Setty is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Hosachiguru and brings experience in scaling large-format real estate and managed farmland businesses. Adarsh Narahari leads Primus Senior Living and contributes more than a decade of senior care expertise, a natural fit for TimBuckDo's Companion Doer segment that assists elderly customers. The startup views the strategic backgrounds of both investors as aligned with its priority expansion sectors.

How the platform works

Founded in 2022 by Mythri Kumar and Apoorv Sharma Prasad, TimBuckDo connects verified college students, known as Doers, with households and businesses for everyday needs. Its portfolio spans elder companionship, pet care, child support, shopping help, and short-duration assistance for home businesses. The company aims to create flexible earning opportunities for students while building a trusted convenience layer for urban India.

Use of funds and growth targets

The bridge capital will be deployed to upgrade TimBuckDo's technology platform, expand its student workforce, and deepen market penetration across core service verticals. The company is targeting around Rs 400 crore in gross revenue and more than 10,000 household orders per day across India over the next three years. It is also working towards a five million dollar Series A round in the coming months.

Investor and founder perspectives

Srinath Setty said he is drawn to businesses that rebuild traditional models with technology and scale, describing TimBuckDo's trusted student workforce opportunity as compelling. Adarsh Narahari noted that the Companion Doer model extends senior care beyond organized communities and into the homes of ageing individuals. Founders Mythri Kumar and Apoorv Sharma Prasad said the backing gives them runway and strategic guidance as they prepare for the next phase of growth.

Prior funding and partnerships

Before this bridge round, TimBuckDo had raised about Rs 6.6 crore in seed funding from investors including Nandkishore Kalambi, Morton Meyerson, Arjun Vaidya, Anupam Bansal, Rukam Capital, and TurboStart. The startup has also formed corporate partnerships with organizations such as Decathlon, Aditya Birla, and ONDC. These relationships are expected to support its efforts to scale the platform and strengthen its operational foundation.

Market context and competition

TimBuckDo operates in a space that overlaps with home services, gig work, concierge support, and student workforce platforms. The broader on-demand convenience sector has seen fresh investor interest, with Pronto raising 25 million dollars in a Series B round and Hulp raising 2.6 million dollars in seed funding. TimBuckDo's focus on verified college students and pink collar work gives it a distinct positioning, though service quality will remain important at scale.

The bridge funding provides TimBuckDo with additional runway and strategic backing as it prepares for its Series A and continues building infrastructure for India's pink collar economy. The company's model addresses rising urban demand for trusted everyday support while creating structured part-time work for students. Its ability to scale responsibly and maintain service quality will be central to meeting its ambitious revenue and order targets.
