Government Backing Reinforces National Priorities

By engaging with Plug and Play, Morocco is opening tangible pathways for startups to scale internationally and contribute to national development goals. The government’s active involvement ensures the alignment of this program with broader public policy objectives.

A Launchpad for Moroccan Tech Talent

For Technopark Morocco, this alliance represents a transformative step in connecting local ecosystems with global opportunities. According to Technopark General Director Lamiae Benmakhlouf, the partnership will equip emerging startups with critical tools to grow faster and enter new markets. It signals a strategic shift toward building a more competitive and globally integrated startup environment rooted in Moroccan innovation.

Beyond Acceleration: Building a Connected Ecosystem

This initiative extends beyond a traditional acceleration framework by aiming to foster a more open and interconnected tech ecosystem. It promotes cross-border collaboration and empowers startups as central agents in Morocco’s digital transformation. The program will help lay the groundwork for a long-term innovation culture anchored in local regions yet designed to thrive in global contexts.
