SVRN, Inc. (NASDAQ: SVRN), a company whose treasury gives shareholders exposure to the NEAR digital asset, announced on October 8, 2026 that it has completed its first acquisition as SVRN, Inc. by acquiring FastNEAR. FastNEAR provides Remote Procedure Call (RPC) infrastructure that applications on NEAR Protocol rely on to read network information and submit transactions. FastNEAR is now a wholly owned subsidiary of SVRN, co-founders Evgeny Kuzyakov and Mike Purvis have joined the company, and financial terms were not disclosed.

The Infrastructure Behind NEAR Applications

Most end users never see the systems that process wallet balances, transaction lookups, and payment submissions. Behind each action is a server that maintains a current copy of the network and responds on its behalf. FastNEAR operates this infrastructure for a substantial share of the NEAR ecosystem, including a fleet of servers that handle read and write requests, archival systems that store the full transaction history, and NEARDATA, a data feed used by developers.

Scale and Developer Reach

FastNEAR currently processes more than 3.5 billion requests per month and manages more than 100 terabytes of data. This scale positions the company as a core provider of network access and data services within the NEAR Protocol. The acquisition brings those capabilities, along with the founding engineers, into SVRN's operations and deepens its participation in the NEAR ecosystem.

A Broader Strategy for NEAR

SVRN has steadily expanded beyond managing its digital asset treasury to actively operating the NEAR network and advancing its ecosystem. The company stakes its treasury with validators that help secure the network, and it participates in NEAR governance. Most notably, SVRN co-authored a program approved in February 2026 that pays multi-party computation (MPC) node operators based on their performance.

Adding an Operating Business

Acquiring FastNEAR extends SVRN's involvement to the everyday services that NEAR developers depend on. The transaction also adds an operating business with an established customer base and a value proposition that is distinct from the price of NEAR itself. This provides SVRN with exposure to real network demand and a foundation for future product development.

Continuity and Investment Plans

FastNEAR's services will continue without interruption for existing customers following the acquisition. SVRN intends to invest in the reliability and capacity of FastNEAR's infrastructure and to build additional products and services on top of it. The leadership sees operating infrastructure as a way to identify where usage is growing and what developers need that does not yet exist.

Executive Perspective

Chief Executive Officer Sal Ternullo emphasized that everything built on NEAR depends on infrastructure most people never see. He noted that when a wallet shows a balance or an application submits a transaction, the underlying systems must answer quickly and correctly every time. Ternullo said FastNEAR has performed this role for a large share of the ecosystem with a small team that kept prices low to support network growth.

By acquiring FastNEAR, SVRN moves closer to real usage and positions itself to shape future investments based on observed developer demand. The company described the transaction as the first of several planned steps to drive adoption of NEAR's products. With continuity assured and new resources allocated to infrastructure expansion, SVRN is strengthening both its operating capabilities and its long-term role in the NEAR ecosystem.
