Stockholm-based Spiich announced on 23 September 2026 that it has secured a €3 million seed round led by Copenhagen-based Ugly Duckling Ventures, with new participation from Alliance VC and Cherry Ventures. Existing investor Ampli Ventures also followed on, and the round arrives ten months after a €600,000 pre-seed, bringing the company’s total funding to €3.6 million. The company builds AI agents that handle non-selling sales tasks so representatives can spend more time with customers.

Addressing the Sales Time Gap

Spiich was founded in Stockholm in June 2025 by Johan Torssell and Dennis Hadzialic to tackle the administrative burden that surrounds selling. Salesforce’s State of Sales 2026 finds that salespeople spend just 22 percent of their time with customers, while 78 percent goes to prospecting, planning, data entry, and other supporting work. Spiich takes on that surrounding workload rather than attempting to replace the salesperson.

Rapid Commercial Momentum

Fifteen months after founding, Spiich serves more than 50 customers across 15 countries in Europe, the United States, and South America, including NORNORM, ProfitMetrics, Zaver, Airmee, Rebaba, and Epiminds. Users have doubled their customer meetings, cut prospecting time by 90 percent, and tripled market coverage. The company reports 100 percent month-on-month annual recurring revenue growth in the first half of 2026, 160 percent net revenue retention, and more than 50,000 deals closed by customers through its platform.

Investor Confidence in a Contrarian Model

Ugly Duckling Ventures led the round and described Spiich as the first sales tool it has seen that performs non-selling work instead of adding another system for representatives to update. Louise Lachmann, General Partner at the firm, said the deciding factor was not the demo but what happened after go-live, when accounts expanded within weeks. She also pointed to the founding team’s rare combination of engineering judgement and commercial instinct.

A Human Sales Thesis

Spiich’s founders argue that selling remains fundamentally human, and that trust is built between people rather than automated interactions. CEO Johan Torssell said almost nobody has bought anything from an AI agent because buyers choose someone they trust to deliver. He added that the company was not built to replace salespeople but to give them the space to finally sell.

From CRM to System of Intelligence

Because salespeople run their daily work through Spiich, the platform sees conversations across meetings, emails, internal notes, and external signals tied to customer relationships. The company argues that a CRM is the system of record and only knows what someone typed in, while Spiich can understand what is actually happening in each relationship and act on it. This positions Spiich as a system of intelligence and action that shows sales organizations where to improve.

Funding for European Growth and Team Expansion

The new capital will be used to grow engineering and go-to-market teams as Spiich targets expansion across Europe. Angel investors from Lovable, Neo4j, Tandem Health, and OpenAI also backed the company, adding to the venture support. The round underscores Nordic investor appetite for B2B software that preserves human selling while automating operational work.

Spiich’s seed funding highlights growing demand for AI systems that support sales relationships rather than supplant the people behind them. Its early commercial momentum, strong retention, and expanding customer base suggest the approach is resonating across multiple markets. The company’s next phase will test whether its human-centered model can scale into a durable layer of intelligence and action for modern sales teams.
