Bsale, a Chilean cloud-based sales software provider for small and medium-sized businesses, has joined Siigo following an acquisition. Siigo is backed by Accel-KKR, a major Silicon Valley technology investment fund, and operates as a regional leader in accounting and administrative software across six countries. Siigo employs more than 4,500 people and serves 1.3 million small businesses and accountants throughout Latin America.

A Combined Software Ecosystem

Bsale was founded in Chile in 2006 and now supports thousands of businesses in Chile, Peru, and Mexico. Its platform helps merchants manage sales across physical stores, ecommerce channels, and every other point where they operate, including electronic invoicing, inventory, and reporting. By joining Siigo, the company adds sales software to accounting, payroll, and administrative management, creating a single ecosystem for entrepreneurs and accountants to simplify their daily operations.

Regional Consolidation After Kame

Siigo is a leading cloud accounting and administrative software company for small businesses and accountants in Latin America. It operates in Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay, Peru, Mexico, and Chile, and it invests more than 20% of its revenue in product and service innovation. Siigo entered Chile in 2025 through the acquisition of Kame, one of the country's fastest-growing software companies, and now aims to become a regional reference in sales software for small businesses.

Leadership Sees a Long-Term Bet

Elvira Montero, cofounder of Bsale, described the decision as a strategic step that will help entrepreneurs organize their businesses across Latin America. She added that Siigo shares Bsale's passion for innovation and its purpose of supporting entrepreneurs through technology. David Ortiz, CEO of Siigo Latam, called the transaction a milestone and a concrete demonstration of the company's commitment to regional entrepreneurs and long-term growth.

US$100 Million Investment to Drive Growth

Siigo plans to invest US$100 million over the next several years to accelerate its software expansion in Latin America. The capital will support Bsale's operations, help bring the platform to new regional markets, and speed up the development of artificial intelligence solutions. David Ortiz added that the goal is to double Bsale's size in the coming years and give more entrepreneurs access to sales management tools across the region.

Company Backgrounds

Bsale was founded in Chile in 2006 by siblings Gustavo and Elvira Montero. It offers a cloud-based sales system that covers electronic invoicing, inventory, cash management, automatic reporting, and multisite sales for physical and online stores. Siigo Latam brings together brands such as Aspel in Mexico, Kame in Chile, and now Bsale under one regional portfolio serving small businesses and accountants.

A Shared Purpose for Small Businesses

The acquisition is rooted in a shared purpose that goes beyond technology. Both companies want to support the people who build businesses every day, from small retail owners to independent accountants. By integrating their platforms, they aim to help users reduce manual work, improve visibility, and run day-to-day operations more efficiently across the region.

The acquisition combines Bsale's sales software expertise with Siigo's accounting and administrative platform to serve more small businesses and accountants across Latin America. Although the terms of the deal were not disclosed, the US$100 million investment signals a long-term commitment to regional growth and innovation. Both companies aim to help businesses sell more, manage their resources better, and grow in an orderly way.
