Saudi Arabian logistics startup Routech Express has successfully closed a pre-seed funding round, securing approximately USD 1 million (SAR 3.75 million). The investment was led by Qewam Fund, with notable participation from a group of angel investors. This new capital is earmarked to scale the company’s operations, enhance its digital platform, and fuel its expansion plans across Saudi Arabia and into new regional markets.

A Unified Approach to Modern Logistics

Founded in 2024 by Jehad Al-Dawood, Routech Express aims to resolve persistent inefficiencies within the delivery sector by offering a unified logistics experience. Its innovative platform aggregates services from multiple carriers, allowing users to compare shipping rates, book deliveries, process payments, and track shipments from a single interface. This consolidated solution is designed to significantly reduce operational complexity for both individual consumers and businesses managing diverse shipping needs.

The platform provides a streamlined ecosystem that enhances transparency and control over the entire shipping process. By centralizing these functions, Routech Express empowers its customers with greater visibility and simplifies decision-making when selecting logistics partners. This approach directly addresses the growing demand for more efficient, reliable, and user-friendly delivery solutions in a competitive market, transforming shipping into a simple digital experience.

Strategic Investment Fuels Expansion

Abdullah bin Muammar, Chairman of the Board, noted that the funding arrives at a pivotal moment for the logistics industry. The sector is experiencing rapid growth, largely driven by the regional e-commerce boom and an increasing consumer expectation for faster and more flexible shipping. Routech Express has already demonstrated strong growth in order volume by offering an integrated platform that serves a wide customer base.

According to CEO Jihad Al-Dawood, this million-dollar pre-seed round is a significant milestone that reflects strong investor confidence in the company's vision. The investment will be instrumental in accelerating product development and expanding technical integrations with shipping partners. These enhancements are intended to improve service reliability, speed, and overall coverage, solidifying the company's market position and service quality.

Driving Digital Transformation with Vision 2030

Routech Express is strategically aligned with the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which emphasizes the digital transformation of key industries. The company actively supports this national agenda by modernizing logistics services and improving shipping efficiency from the Kingdom to global markets. Its success was previously recognized when it secured first place in the Al-Alf Mile Program, an initiative under the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP).

The timing of this funding coincides with a surge in Saudi Arabia’s e-commerce sector, which has amplified the need for advanced logistics technology. As online sales continue to scale, startups that enhance efficiency and transparency are becoming critical enablers of economic growth. Routech Express is well-positioned to play a central role in this evolution by providing solutions that help merchants and businesses expand.

As a proud national platform, Routech Express is committed to delivering a superior shipping experience that combines speed, reliability, and competitive pricing. This recent infusion of capital will empower the company to pursue its ambitious growth trajectory and strengthen its role in the region's logistics landscape. The startup aims to establish itself as the smart, all-in-one choice for individuals and companies seeking to manage their shipments effectively.
