ReFit Global, a New Delhi-based refurbished electronics company, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round from an undisclosed family office based in the United Arab Emirates. The fresh capital will support the company’s plans to expand its retail network, strengthen refurbishment operations, and invest further in its technology infrastructure. The funding also comes as ReFit looks to deepen its presence across India while exploring expansion opportunities in international markets.
Funding to Support Retail and Technology Expansion
ReFit Global plans to deploy the new funding across several areas of its business, including physical retail, refurbishment capacity, technology systems, and its broader omnichannel strategy. The company also intends to scale its business-to-business and direct-to-consumer operations across the refurbished electronics value chain. According to reports, the UAE-based investor is also expected to help ReFit connect with potential partners, customers, and commercial opportunities in Gulf and African markets.
Building an Integrated Refurbished Electronics Platform
Founded in 2018 by Saket Saurav and Avneet Singh, ReFit Global operates across electronics refurbishment, distribution, retail, and consumer-facing channels. The company is working to create an integrated ecosystem that combines device sourcing, refurbishment infrastructure, national distribution, technology-driven quality controls, and omnichannel retail. Its model is designed to improve the efficiency and reliability of how used consumer electronics move through the secondary market before reaching new buyers.
Expanding Distribution and Retail Reach
ReFit Global says its distribution network currently includes more than 75 distributors, over 2,000 wholesalers, and approximately 50,000 retail outlets across India. That network extends from major metropolitan areas to Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 cities, giving the company access to a broad range of consumers and resellers. ReFit has also developed a physical retail presence through 12 ReFit Xpress outlets while maintaining relationships with major online marketplaces and offline sales channels.
Technology at the Center of Refurbishment
The company has increasingly incorporated technology into the refurbishment process to improve consistency, transparency, and inventory visibility. Its systems cover automated device diagnostics, quality checks, grading, post-quality-control processes, and real-time inventory management across its operations. ReFit also reports a refurbishment yield of 92% and says its repair infrastructure supports work up to L4 level, including advanced chip-level repairs.
Positioning in India’s Re-Commerce Market
ReFit is expanding at a time when India’s refurbished electronics sector is becoming increasingly organized and competitive. Refurbished smartphone volumes reportedly increased 13% year over year during the first half of 2026, while organized players accounted for roughly one-fifth of the market. Companies including Cashify, ControlZ, GREST, and Budli are also building formal re-commerce businesses around certified devices, warranties, trade-ins, and direct consumer sales.
Brand Development and International Ambitions
Beyond its distribution operations, ReFit has gained wider consumer recognition after appearing on Shark Tank India Season 3. The company works across online marketplaces, physical retail locations, and brand partnerships, with Amazon and Flipkart among the platforms involved in its sourcing and sales relationships. Its next phase of growth is expected to combine continued domestic expansion with potential entry into Gulf and African markets.
The $1 million seed round gives ReFit Global additional capital to strengthen its position in India’s growing refurbished electronics industry while developing a more integrated operating model. By combining refurbishment expertise, distribution scale, retail outlets, and technology-driven quality systems, the company is attempting to build a structured alternative to the fragmented secondary electronics market. Its planned expansion into new geographies could further test whether that model can be replicated beyond India as demand for more affordable and circular electronics continues to develop.
