Raptee.HV, a Chennai based electric motorcycle manufacturer, has started customer deliveries in Bengaluru after opening its first showroom in the city. The move marks a transition from establishing a retail footprint to fulfilling existing bookings in a market identified as strategically important for the premium electric two-wheeler segment. The company is now focused on scaling delivery volumes while building a dependable customer support network across Bengaluru.
Bengaluru Deliveries Commence
The first customer deliveries follow the recent launch of Raptee.HV's showroom in Bengaluru, marking a concrete step in the company's retail strategy. Bengaluru has been identified as a priority market for its premium electric motorcycle offerings, and early bookings are now being converted into vehicle ownership. The initial deliveries form part of a broader objective to strengthen the company's presence in one of India's most active electric vehicle markets.
Targets and Waiting Period Reduction
Raptee.HV is targeting more than 100 electric motorcycle deliveries across Bengaluru and Chennai by November, a milestone that reflects its growing production readiness. The company is actively working to increase delivery volumes while reducing customer waiting periods in both cities, according to its leadership. Dinesh Arjun, CEO and co-founder, said the organisation remains focused on scaling operations steadily and maintaining a smooth and reliable ownership experience for every rider.
Service Centre Opens in HSR Layout
To support its expanding customer base, Raptee.HV has established a dedicated service centre in the 1st Sector of HSR Layout in Bengaluru. The facility operates from Monday to Saturday and is staffed by a four-member team focused on after-sales support and customer care. It is intended to provide timely maintenance, repairs, and ownership assistance as the company increases delivery volumes across the city.
Proprietary Technology and Charging Compatibility
Raptee.HV describes itself as India's first electric motorcycle manufacturer with electric car DNA, and its motorcycles are built on the company's proprietary HV-Tec platform. The motorcycles are compatible with the CCS2 public charging standard, allowing riders to use widely available public charging infrastructure rather than relying only on dedicated two-wheeler chargers. This approach integrates elements of electric car architecture and safety into the two-wheeler segment, according to the company.
Retail Network Expansion Across India
The Bengaluru showroom, service centre, and delivery operations are part of Raptee.HV's wider expansion across key Indian markets. The company is building its retail and customer support network with a clear focus on the premium electric motorcycle segment. By establishing both sales and service infrastructure, Raptee.HV aims to strengthen its footprint beyond its Chennai headquarters and support long-term market growth.
Leadership Perspective on Operational Progress
Dinesh Arjun, CEO and co-founder of Raptee.HV, said Bengaluru has been a key market and beginning deliveries there is a significant step forward for the company. He noted that early customers are now moving from booking to ownership, which reflects steady operational progress and growing consumer confidence. Arjun added that the company is working closely on reducing waiting periods and prioritising a reliable and smooth ownership experience for riders.
Raptee.HV's entry into customer deliveries in Bengaluru marks an important milestone in its growth as a premium electric motorcycle manufacturer. With a service centre now operational and further deliveries planned, the company is laying the groundwork for sustained expansion in key Indian cities. Its focus on scalable operations and after-sales support is likely to shape the next phase of its market presence.
