Coldwell Banker Commercial Advantage, Edafa Venture, and Prime Group Egypt have announced the launch of PropTech Hub, a strategic investment and development company focused on real estate technology in Egypt and the wider region. The new company is positioned as a specialized platform designed to support startups developing digital solutions for the real estate industry. Its establishment reflects growing demand for technology-driven models across property development, operations, management, marketing, and investment.

Building on an Existing Initiative

PropTech Hub builds on the PropTech Program introduced in October as an initiative to support innovation in the sector. By evolving the program into a dedicated company, the founding partners aim to create a more structured institutional ecosystem for identifying, financing, and scaling promising startups. The company will focus on businesses at both early and growth stages, with the goal of turning high-potential ideas into commercially viable companies.

Bridging Real Estate and Technology

The company aims to connect the real estate and technology sectors through a platform that combines capital, industry access, operational support, and strategic guidance. Startups joining the platform are expected to benefit from market insights, mentorship, investor connections, and access to a network of developers, operators, and other real estate stakeholders. This approach is intended to help emerging companies test, refine, and expand solutions that address practical challenges across the property value chain.

Investment and Acceleration Framework

PropTech Hub is built around three main pillars: Connect, Innovate, and Elevate. Connect focuses on linking entrepreneurs with investors and real estate decision-makers, while Innovate encourages new solutions that can improve development, management, and operational models. Elevate is designed to help selected companies expand their market reach, strengthen their business models, and increase their investment impact.

Market Context and Upcoming Launch Event

The launch comes at a time when real estate markets globally are increasingly adopting digital tools to improve efficiency, transparency, sustainability, and customer engagement. In Egypt and the region, the sector is seeing rising interest in solutions that can support smarter planning, better asset management, digital sales channels, and more efficient investment processes. PropTech Hub plans to hold a dedicated launch event in the coming period, where it will introduce its first cohort of companies and present its investment and acceleration roadmap.

Industry Leaders Outline the Vision

Mahmoud Farag, CEO of Prime Group Egypt, described the company as a strategic step toward building a dedicated investment platform for scalable real estate technology solutions. Essam Ali, CEO of Edafa Venture, said the sector is expected to become one of the most promising areas of growth over the next decade, particularly for companies capable of reshaping how real estate ecosystems operate. Sherif Hassan, Chairman of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advantage, emphasized that the platform is intended to connect innovation with real market implementation by bringing developers, investors, entrepreneurs, and technology providers into one ecosystem.

PropTech Hub enters the market as a targeted effort to accelerate the digital transformation of real estate in Egypt and the broader region. By combining investment, acceleration, industry expertise, and strategic partnerships, the company aims to create a clearer pathway for startups seeking to scale within the property sector. Its success will depend on its ability to identify strong solutions, connect them with real market needs, and help turn emerging technologies into sustainable businesses with measurable industry impact.
