Ondas Inc., a provider of autonomous systems and private wireless solutions, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire World View Enterprises, a leader in stratospheric remote sensing. This strategic acquisition aims to create a unified, multi-domain intelligence platform by integrating ground, air, and stratospheric assets. The transaction builds upon a previous $10 million strategic investment and partnership between the two companies, signaling a strong alignment in their vision and customer focus.

A Strategic Union for Layered Intelligence

The acquisition unites Ondas and World View under a shared vision for an AI-powered intelligence architecture that spans multiple domains. Ondas has been developing a portfolio of networked autonomous systems for air and ground operations. World View brings its expertise in persistent stratospheric intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), creating a comprehensive layered sensing capability to meet modern security demands.

World View has a proven track record, having completed over 140 stratospheric flight operations with payloads reaching up to 10,000 kg. The company's Stratollite® platform provides long-endurance, wide-area sensing from the stratosphere. Its established customer base includes prominent government agencies such as NASA, NOAA, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Department of War.

Creating a Multi-Domain Defense Platform

Eric Brock, Chairman and CEO of Ondas, emphasized that persistent sensing and AI-enabled analysis are foundational to modern security operations. He stated that World View accelerates the company's systems-of-systems roadmap by adding a stratospheric dimension to its ISR strategy. This move also strengthens Ondas' engagement with U.S. and allied defense customers around the world.

From World View's perspective, CEO Ryan Hartman noted that joining Ondas will accelerate the company's growth and vision. Access to Ondas' broader platform and global go-to-market capabilities will expedite product development and expand customer reach. The alignment will enable the more efficient delivery of integrated, multi-domain intelligence solutions to a growing market.

Meeting Evolving Market Demands

The global demand for persistent, multi-domain ISR is expanding rapidly due to defense modernization and heightened security needs. Customers are increasingly moving away from single-platform solutions toward integrated architectures that offer continuous awareness and coordinated response. The combined entity is uniquely positioned to lead this market transition with its comprehensive capabilities across land, air, and stratosphere.

This new platform will deliver integrated mission workflows connecting persistent detection with tactical collection and autonomous response. Leveraging a strategic partnership with Palantir, Ondas is building a scalable, AI-driven architecture to convert multi-domain sensor data into real-time outcomes. The combination of technologies creates a differentiated, interconnected ISR capability for complex, multi-domain operations.

Following the transaction's close, World View will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary within the Ondas Autonomous Systems business unit. The integration is designed to support continued growth by aligning engineering, AI, and mission systems capabilities across the entire portfolio. This strategic acquisition positions Ondas to capture a significant share of the global market for advanced, layered intelligence solutions.
