Brazilian artificial intelligence startup Nuvia has raised US$1.8 million, equivalent to approximately R$10 million, in a funding round led by Latin America-focused investors Amador Capital and Nascent. The round also included existing investor NXTP, alongside Crivo Ventures, Delusional Capital and a Spectra Investimentos club deal. Nuvia will direct the new capital toward accelerating its commercial presence in Brazil and other Latin American markets while continuing to develop its platform.

A New Phase of Investor Support

The funding marks the first Brazilian investment for Amador Capital, Nascent and Delusional Capital, signaling fresh international confidence in the company. Nuvia previously raised approximately US$1.7 million in a round led by NXTP and Gilgamesh Ventures, with participation from 1616 Ventures, LASP Capital and a16z Scout Fund. Together, the two rounds bring the startup's total disclosed funding to about US$3.5 million.

Beyond Chatbots to Operational AI Agents

Nuvia's platform integrates channels such as WhatsApp, Instagram, voice, web and email, and connects to CRMs and other corporate tools. The company positions its technology as more than a chatbot, with artificial intelligence agents designed to understand internal processes and execute different stages of a workflow. A central part of the new investment will be used to strengthen the sales and marketing teams and to continue improving the platform.

Expansion Plans for Latin America

International expansion is a priority for Nuvia, and the company selected investors with expertise in Latin American markets to support that goal. Today, roughly 90 percent of Nuvia's clients are in Brazil, while it already serves some customers in Mexico, Colombia and the Iberian Peninsula. The company is targeting markets where WhatsApp plays a central role in business and consumer interactions and where high-volume service demands create operational bottlenecks.

A Model for High-Volume Operations

Nuvia's strategy focuses on sectors where customer contact involves heavy quotation, screening and support activity rather than simple predefined answers. The platform can manage complex internal flows across different channels while preserving context when a conversation moves from one channel to another. According to the company, this approach helps teams concentrate on service quality while artificial intelligence handles the most repetitive, high-frequency interactions.

Results in Health, Retail and Sales

Nuvia has built notable cases in sectors with dense triage, quotation and support flows, including health and retail. During the Easter period, Chocolat Du Jour recorded about 25,000 service interactions in less than eight days, and artificial intelligence agents handled 91 percent of the conversations. In the energy sector, Lemon Energy uses the platform for a longer commercial journey that includes lead qualification, document collection and sales closing.

Leadership and Product Direction

Nuvia was founded in 2024 by John Paz, Arthur Sorelli and Antero Silva. John Paz, formerly general manager of Pomelo in Brazil, serves as chief executive officer, while Arthur Sorelli leads revenue as chief revenue officer. The company is building infrastructure for hybrid commercial teams in which employees and artificial intelligence agents work together to sell, support and retain customers, replacing fragmented systems that lose customer context.

Nuvia's latest round positions the startup to scale its platform beyond early validation and strengthen commercial operations in Brazil and neighboring markets. The company has demonstrated that its artificial intelligence agents can manage large interaction volumes and support complex sales processes across different industries. With roughly US$3.5 million raised to date, the startup is advancing a proposition that connects channels, data and teams into a single operational flow.
