Nevvon, a compliance and training technology provider serving the home care workforce, has secured a strategic investment from BVP Forge, the private equity arm of Bessemer Venture Partners. The transaction is intended to support Nevvon’s expansion across the United States, strengthen its relationships with payors and self-directed care programs, and extend its technology to more caregivers. Alongside the investment, the company introduced TrainOnce, a new feature designed to make completed compliance training portable across participating agencies.

Expanding Home Care Infrastructure

Nevvon provides training and compliance infrastructure for home care, home health, and facility-based care organizations, integrating with systems agencies already use for scheduling, billing, and regulatory management. The company said more than 650,000 caregivers have used its platform and completed over 57 million training lessons, while its compliance framework covers requirements across all 50 U.S. states. Nevvon added that its caregiver network has expanded by more than 300% during the past five years as adoption has increased among agencies and care organizations.

The investment from BVP Forge is expected to help Nevvon scale this existing footprint while expanding its work with organizations that manage or finance care services. Nevvon’s management team will remain responsible for operating the company, with existing relationships involving agencies, caregivers, and channel partners continuing without changes to day-to-day operations. BVP Forge focuses on growth-oriented, self-sustaining technology and business-to-business services companies and currently manages $2.3 billion across its portfolio.

TrainOnce Targets Repeated Compliance Training

The launch of TrainOnce addresses a recurring challenge for caregivers who work for multiple agencies or move between employers within the home care industry. Workers can frequently be required to repeat compliance courses they have already completed, creating additional unpaid training time for caregivers while increasing onboarding costs and administrative workloads for agencies. Nevvon said TrainOnce allows eligible training completed through its platform to remain recognized when caregivers transition between participating organizations while maintaining applicable compliance requirements.

The feature builds on Nevvon’s existing network of caregivers and agencies, particularly in markets where employees frequently move between home care providers and fiscal intermediaries. By making training records more transferable, Nevvon aims to reduce duplicated onboarding activities and allow caregivers to begin working with clients more quickly after changing organizations. The initiative also reflects the broader shift toward self-directed care models, in which individuals have greater responsibility for selecting and managing the people providing their care.

Technology and Regulatory Compliance

Nevvon’s platform is designed to track training requirements as regulations evolve across different states and care settings, helping organizations maintain compliance while reducing administrative work. Its technology integrates with operational systems used by agencies for workforce scheduling, billing, and audit preparation, allowing training and compliance processes to fit within existing workflows. The company says several large home care organizations already use its infrastructure, providing a foundation for expanding services such as TrainOnce across a wider network.

BVP Forge Partner Navid Oreizy said the investor was attracted by Nevvon’s position in the home care compliance market and its approach to using technology to address changing regulatory requirements. He also pointed to the company’s potential to extend its services further across the care sector as agencies and payors look for more efficient ways to manage workforce compliance. BVP Forge plans to support Nevvon through its ForgeEdge operational resources as the business enters its next stage of growth.

Supporting Further Growth

Nevvon CEO James Cohen said the partnership would allow the company to continue expanding infrastructure designed for caregivers and the agencies that employ them. The company intends to use the additional backing to increase its market reach, enhance its platform, and strengthen its role within the increasingly complex home care ecosystem. Its growth strategy comes as workforce mobility and regulatory obligations create stronger demand for technology capable of simplifying training without weakening compliance standards.

Nevvon’s strategic investment from BVP Forge combines new financial backing with the launch of a product aimed at reducing one of the home care sector’s persistent administrative inefficiencies. TrainOnce seeks to make compliance training more portable as caregivers increasingly work across agencies and self-directed care arrangements, while Nevvon continues expanding its national technology infrastructure. The partnership positions the company to deepen its relationships with agencies and payors while addressing the growing operational demands surrounding caregiver training and compliance.
