LetzRyd, a Bengaluru-based mobility fleet platform, has successfully secured $4 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by JIF Capital and included participation from Japan's 15th Rock and existing backer UNLEASH Capital Partners. This new capital is set to accelerate the company's mission to build a scalable and inclusive urban transport infrastructure.

Strategic Allocation of New Capital

The company has outlined a clear strategy for deploying the newly acquired funds to fuel its next growth phase. A primary focus will be on strengthening its fleet network and scaling its proprietary operating platform. These efforts are designed to enhance the company's capacity and operational reach in the competitive urban mobility market.

A significant portion of the capital will advance its technology-led fleet and driver lifecycle management systems. This investment aims to improve vehicle utilization, uptime, and overall service efficiency for its ride-hailing partners. The company also plans to deepen its driver-focused initiatives, expanding access to financial stability and ownership opportunities.

An Innovative Fleet Management Model

Founded in 2023, LetzRyd operates an asset-backed platform that supplies vehicles and drivers to major ride-hailing companies. The firm utilizes a hybrid approach, combining operating lease arrangements with direct fleet deployment models. This structure provides flexibility and efficiency, addressing critical infrastructure needs within the urban transportation sector.

The platform's core strength lies in its integration of sophisticated financial models with high operational efficiency and technology-driven monitoring. This synergy enables LetzRyd to optimize vehicle performance and service levels for its clients. It also creates structured pathways for drivers to achieve vehicle ownership, fostering a more sustainable ecosystem.

A Driver-First Approach Yields Early Success

LetzRyd's emphasis on improving driver economics has produced notable results within its first year of operations. The company reports its model has increased driver earnings by an average of 20 to 22 percent. This focus has also led to a significant reduction in driver attrition, with rates falling below industry benchmarks.

Founder and CEO Tarun Jain emphasized the company's commitment to this driver-centric philosophy. "Our focus is on creating sustainable opportunities for driver partners while strengthening the infrastructure that powers modern urban mobility," he stated. This approach positions drivers as key stakeholders in the company's long-term success and growth strategy.

Investor Confidence and Future Outlook

The funding round highlights strong investor confidence in LetzRyd's vision and execution. Supriya Singh of lead investor JIF Capital praised the company's scalable platform and its clear driver-first approach. She noted that LetzRyd is addressing a critical infrastructure need by combining operational efficiency with financial access for drivers.

The participation of 15th Rock marks the Japanese venture capital firm's inaugural investment in India, signaling international interest. Existing investor UNLEASH Capital Partners also reaffirmed its support, with Natsuki Sugai citing the team's sharp execution. This continued backing underscores belief in the company's long-term potential to build a sustainable fleet ecosystem.

Currently operating in three cities with a fleet exceeding 1,000 vehicles, LetzRyd has achieved consistent double-digit monthly growth. The new capital will be instrumental in its plans to expand into new urban markets and grow its vehicle base. The company also intends to explore opportunities in additional mobility segments to further diversify its offerings.

This $4 million Series A funding round represents a significant milestone for LetzRyd, providing resources to scale its innovative model. By prioritizing both technological advancement and driver welfare, the company is well-positioned to enhance urban mobility infrastructure. The investment validates its strategy and fuels its ambition to shape the future of transportation in India.
