UAE-based holistic education company GMNSM has successfully secured $2 million in a recent funding round led by VEYRA Capital and a private investor. The capital injection is earmarked for an ambitious international expansion, with new academies planned for Saudi Arabia and Europe. This move will export the company's unique model, which integrates martial arts training with comprehensive soft-skills development for children and adults.

A Holistic Approach to Development

GMNSM distinguishes itself from traditional martial arts schools by blending physical education with a structured curriculum for personal growth. Its signature program combines an hour of athletic training in disciplines like Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with thirty minutes dedicated to developing soft skills. This includes crucial life competencies such as goal setting, emotional resilience, and critical problem-solving for its students.

Founded in 2022 by entrepreneur and former professional athlete Andrej Kuprejev, the company has demonstrated rapid growth. It currently operates a network of 11 academies across the UAE, Qatar, and Cyprus, serving a community of over 700 members. The company's family-oriented approach encourages parents to participate, creating a shared experience that strengthens community bonds across generations.

Fueling Strategic International Expansion

The new funding will directly support the next phase of GMNSM's growth, beginning with the launch of its first jiu-jitsu academy in Riyadh. Simultaneously, the company will establish its inaugural European presence in Monaco, a strategic gateway to the continent. These initial locations are part of a broader plan that includes future expansion into the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Spain.

The choice of these markets is highly strategic, with Saudi Arabia identified as a key growth region due to rising public interest in physical activity. Monaco was selected for its high concentration of international families, providing an ideal base for European operations. This dual-pronged approach positions GMNSM to capture significant opportunities in both the GCC and European markets.

Technology-Driven Quality Assurance

To ensure consistent quality while scaling, GMNSM has developed a proprietary platform called Allim AI. This innovative tool analyzes coaching performance, student engagement, and retention metrics to standardize teaching quality across all locations. The AI-driven system provides coaches with actionable feedback, ensuring the student experience remains high regardless of the academy's location.

Investor Confidence and Market Outlook

The investment from VEYRA Capital signals strong confidence in GMNSM's vision and operational capabilities. Konstantin Katsev, a Venture Partner at the firm, highlighted the combination of a strong founder and a scalable model as key factors in their decision. He noted the team's disciplined execution and ability to create a high-quality experience that can be replicated across diverse markets.

This funding round reflects a growing trend of investor interest in businesses that combine education, technology, and recurring revenue models. As families in the Gulf and beyond increase spending on children's extracurricular development, companies like GMNSM are becoming increasingly attractive. The investment underscores the market's appetite for innovative educational platforms that deliver tangible life skills alongside physical training.

With $2 million in new capital, GMNSM is poised to transition from a regional success story into a global educational platform. The company's strategic expansion into Saudi Arabia and Europe is supported by a proven holistic curriculum and a proprietary AI technology for quality control. This investment not only validates GMNSM's innovative approach but also equips it to meet the growing global demand for balanced child development.
