Logistics technology firm LEAP India is set to launch its initial public offering, aiming to raise up to ₹2,480 crore from the public markets. The KKR-backed supply chain company is seeking a valuation of approximately ₹70 billion through this significant listing. The public subscription for the IPO is scheduled to open on August 7 and will conclude on August 11.

IPO Structure and Valuation Details

The company has established a price band of ₹151 to ₹159 per share for its public issue. This offering is structured with a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹480 crore and a substantial offer for sale (OFS) component of up to ₹2,000 crore. At the upper end of this price band, the IPO values LEAP India at an impressive ₹7,004.5 crore.

The offer for sale is primarily driven by its major investors, including the promoter entity Vertical Holdings II Pte. Ltd. This KKR-backed firm will offload shares valued at up to ₹1,998.6 crore, while the promoter group KIA EBT Scheme 3 will sell a smaller stake worth ₹1.4 crore. These sales allow existing shareholders to capitalize on the company's growth and public market entry.

Company's Financial Performance

LEAP India's move to go public is supported by its robust financial performance in the recent fiscal year. The company reported a remarkable 66% increase in its net profit, which reached ₹623.4 million for fiscal year 2026. This profit growth was accompanied by a significant 56.4% rise in revenue, totaling ₹7.3 billion for the same period.

As a technology-enabled asset pooling services company, LEAP India has built a formidable operational footprint across the country. Its extensive network includes 30 warehouses, seven outsourced pallet manufacturing units, and a diverse base of over 900 customers. The firm's operations are managed by a dedicated workforce of more than 3,250 employees, underscoring its scale.

Timeline and Market Debut

The IPO process will officially commence with the anchor investor bidding round on August 6. Following this, the issue will be open for public subscription for three days, starting on August 7 and closing on August 11. The company's shares are expected to make their debut on the stock exchanges and begin trading on August 14.

The journey to this public offering began when LEAP India filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) in September of the previous year. The company successfully navigated the regulatory landscape, receiving the necessary clearance from the markets regulator in December. This approval paved the way for the firm to finalize its IPO plans and approach the public market for capital.

LEAP India's upcoming IPO marks a significant milestone for the company and the broader logistics technology sector. Backed by strong financial growth and prominent investors like KKR, the listing is poised to attract considerable attention. The market will be closely observing its performance as it transitions into a publicly traded entity, setting a new benchmark for the industry.
