Warsaw-based medtech innovator Jutro Medical has secured a $28.1 million Series A extension, bringing its total funding for the round to a significant $42.2 million. The company is pioneering an AI-first approach to primary care, integrating online and offline services to address systemic inefficiencies within Europe's $234.8 billion market. This new capital, with Warsaw Equity Group leading the investment, will accelerate its mission to modernize healthcare delivery.

An Integrated Model for Modern Healthcare

Jutro Medical's strategy directly confronts the fragmentation and outdated processes common in primary care by acquiring existing clinics. These practices are then integrated onto a unified platform featuring a proprietary Electronic Health Record (EHR) and standardized workflows. This "rollup" model ensures consistent service quality and operational efficiency across its growing network of facilities.

The company tackles widespread challenges like workforce shortages and overwhelming administrative burdens that currently limit patient access and strain resources. It spent its initial four years developing a robust software and data infrastructure as a foundation for its operations. This groundwork has proven essential for efficiently layering sophisticated AI tools to support its clinical teams.

Leveraging AI to Empower Clinicians

The company's AI agents are embedded directly into clinical workflows to streamline administrative duties like patient intake and drafting visit documentation. This allows clinicians to begin appointments with prepared context, focusing their expertise on diagnosis and treatment rather than paperwork. Patients retain full control, with the option to choose a traditional appointment, ensuring the technology serves as a support tool.

This AI-driven system already manages thousands of patient interactions and supported nearly 1,500 doctor visits last month alone. Instead of expanding administrative staff, the company builds AI agents to perform the same work, freeing clinicians to practice medicine. This approach demonstrates the model's readiness for large-scale deployment and its potential to transform clinic operations fundamentally.

Fueling Strategic Growth and Expansion

Since its 2020 launch, Jutro Medical has expanded from a single clinic to a network of 20 locations across Poland, now serving 120,000 patients. The company has completed over 500,000 visits and reports an impressive 270% year-over-year growth, underscoring strong market demand. Its acquisition-led strategy is central to this rapid scaling, targeting around 20 clinic integrations annually.

The fresh capital will be instrumental in fueling this ambitious expansion, with the investment syndicate including Vinci, KAYA VC, and Inovo VC. A significant portion of the funding is earmarked for entering new European markets after solidifying its presence in Poland. Jutro Medical will also continue developing its AI agents to automate an even broader range of operational tasks.

With this substantial new investment, Jutro Medical is strongly positioned to scale its innovative model for primary care delivery across the continent. By combining strategic acquisitions with advanced AI automation, the company is creating a more efficient and patient-centric healthcare experience. Its long-term vision to build a pan-European operator promises to reshape a fragmented and often overburdened sector for the better.
