Isometric, a London-based company that provides AI-powered certification for the industrial economy, has expanded its Series A round to 43 million euros, equivalent to 50 million dollars. The latest increase includes new backing from Intercontinental Exchange and several other investors. Combined with its seed funding, the company has now raised 75 million dollars in total.
Expanded Round and New Backers
The Series A was first announced in June 2026. New participants include Intercontinental Exchange, the operator of the New York Stock Exchange and major environmental and energy markets, as well as Acario Innovation, BY Venture Partners, Dubai Future District Fund, Earth VC, Motion Ventures, One Capital, Plug and Play, Verb Ventures, and Legora founder Max Junestrand. Existing backers such as AVP, Lowercarbon Capital, Plural, John Doerr, and Walter Kortschak also supported the round.
Chief Executive Officer Eamon Jubbawy explained that provable output becomes financeable output because AI agents can check every data point behind an industrial claim and turn it into a verified asset. He noted that ICE has spent decades building infrastructure for global financial markets and is now backing Isometric to do the same for the industrial economy. The company views this support as validation of its certification model.
AI-Powered Certification for the Industrial Economy
Founded in 2022, Isometric certifies claims that customers, investors, and regulators rely on but cannot check for themselves. Its platform, Certify, works with independent verifiers to review data points behind a claim, reducing timelines from months to hours. Every certificate is published on Isometric’s public Registry with underlying data, calculations, and evidence.
Isometric started in carbon removal, where it has been contracted to certify more than 16 million tonnes, exceeding any other certifier globally. The company has since expanded into industrial emissions, energy, fuels, and materials. Its customers include Microsoft, Anglo American, Boeing, JPMorgan Chase, and more than 200 projects worldwide.
European Funding Momentum
The expanded round comes amid continued 2026 investment in European companies focused on carbon certification, measurement, and industrial decarbonisation. Recent raises include 12.6 million euros for Equitable Earth, 3.2 million euros for Seqana, 1.25 million euros for Proba, and 17.5 million euros for D-CRBN. When adjacent deals such as MAECONOMY and Cocoon Carbon are included, the six related rounds total approximately 49 million euros in disclosed funding, rising to around 58 million euros with Isometric’s latest tranche.
Gordon Bennett, Managing Director of Utility Markets at Intercontinental Exchange, said analogue markets can be transformed through digital infrastructure. He added that the partners and platforms ICE backs will define the next chapter of environmental markets. ICE’s investment reflects confidence in Isometric’s verification and data integrity approach.
Future Growth and Strategic Plans
With the new capital, Isometric will accelerate its expansion across the industrial economy. The company plans to combine its AI-powered certification technology with ICE’s financial market infrastructure and data expertise. Demand is rising because electrification, automation, decarbonization, and data centers are fueling a large industrial build-out that requires proof of regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards.
The expanded Series A positions Isometric to support faster and more accurate certification for industrial projects seeking buyers, investment, and permits. The involvement of ICE and other global investors highlights the growing importance of verified industrial claims in environmental and financial markets. Isometric’s progression from carbon removal to broader industrial certification reflects its role in making industrial claims more transparent, reliable, and financeable.
