Insi, the Brazilian technology company formerly known as Meta, has launched CALL4TECH, a new open innovation program offering selected startups up to R$1.5 million each in corporate venture capital. The initiative follows the company's rebranding after an agreement with the United States based Meta and is part of a broader innovation strategy. Applications are open until September 25, 2026, and the program targets Brazilian startups with validated solutions that can address real operational challenges for Insi and its clients.

A Rebrand and a New Innovation Structure

The launch occurs shortly after Insi adopted its current name to resolve a trademark overlap with the global social media company Meta. The rebranding also introduced a dedicated innovation and partnerships directorate connected to the executive committee, bringing together Insi Ventures and the internal Labs technology team. Mário Lemos, Chief Product and Innovation Officer, and Andreia Dullius, head of Insi Ventures, lead this renewed structure.

Program Focus and Eligibility

CALL4TECH is looking for technologies in three main territories: accelerating the software development life cycle, enabling intelligent business process outsourcing operations, and improving marketing, sales, and market intelligence. Applicants must be legally headquartered in Brazil with active registration, a revenue history, and an existing client portfolio. Participation is free, and entries can be submitted through the program website until September 25, 2026.

Selection, Investment, and Commercial Potential

After the screening phase, between six and ten finalists will present their solutions at a Pitch Day scheduled for October 19, 2026. An evaluation panel of Insi executives, Insi Ventures specialists, and innovation ecosystem leaders will assess each solution's fit for a paid proof of concept, a supply contract, or investment. Selected startups can receive venture capital contributions of up to R$1.5 million from Insi's corporate venture capital vehicle.

Track Record and Portfolio

The new program succeeds Bring Your SaaS, which ran for five editions and evaluated more than 500 startups while directing R$10 million to investments. Insi currently holds 35 active contracts with technology businesses and has invested in seven companies through its corporate venture capital arm over the past three years. Andreia Dullius said that the goal is to combine startup technical speed with Insi's scale, codeveloping solutions and pursuing shared growth.

A Global Company Entering a New Cycle

Founded 35 years ago, Insi partners with brands such as SAP and Salesforce and operates in 27 countries with more than 2,500 employees. Its client base of over 200 organizations includes Globo, Gerdau, Sodexo, Amazon, ArcelorMittal, and Sicredi. The company is also considering acquisitions and corporate venture building as possible routes as it calibrates the next investment cycle.

Artificial Intelligence and the Innovation Mandate

The move also reflects a broader shift in how technology services companies are responding to artificial intelligence. Insi's leadership says the traditional consulting model depended heavily on adding headcount, while the new focus is on increasing revenue per employee through ecosystem connections. Corporate venture capital is being used to access validated products more quickly and at lower cost than building everything internally.

With CALL4TECH, Insi is converting its recent rebrand into a practical search for technologies that can raise productivity and revenue per employee. The program's blended model of contracts, proofs of concept, and venture backing gives selected startups a direct path to scale with a global technology services partner. As the September deadline approaches, the initiative represents an important test of whether corporate venture capital can deliver faster innovation outcomes in a changing market.
