InDebted, a global AI-native collections infrastructure company, announced on October 1, 2026 that Chris McNamara has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Brendan Lee has been appointed Chief Financial Officer. The appointments complete a CEO search that began in April, when founder Josh Foreman transitioned from Chief Executive Officer to a dedicated Founder and Executive Director role. The leadership changes follow InDebted's strongest revenue year to date, with group revenue growth of 42% year over year.

Executive Search Completed

InDebted opened its CEO search after Foreman moved from Chief Executive Officer into a dedicated Founder and Executive Director role in April, and the process concluded with the appointment of McNamara and Lee effective October 1, 2026. Between them, the new leaders bring almost five decades of combined leadership experience. Foreman said the new executives are the right team to lead the company into its next chapter.

Chris McNamara's Background

McNamara joins InDebted from Advanced Navigation, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer and helped grow the company to unicorn status. He previously held Chief Revenue Officer positions at Remote and Glassdoor, building go-to-market strategies across the United States, Europe, and Australia. McNamara is an alum of the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a former management consultant.

Brendan Lee's Background

Lee arrives from Morgan Stanley, where he was most recently Managing Director and Head of Technology, Media and Telecommunications for Australia and New Zealand. His career also includes roles at Goldman Sachs, Macquarie Group, and McKinsey & Company. Lee has advised many of the region's largest technology companies on growth and capital markets strategy.

Company Momentum and Product Scope

InDebted operates across six regions and four core products that span the collections lifecycle: Collect, Receive, Release, and Comply. The company's AI-native agentic technology is designed to reshape a sector that has seen limited innovation for years. The appointments follow group revenue growth of 42% year over year, marking InDebted's strongest revenue year to date.

Leadership Commentary

Founder Josh Foreman said Chris and Brendan are exactly the caliber of operators he hoped to find, and their arrival reflects how far the business has come. McNamara said InDebted's agentic technology is already redefining the consumer collections experience and delivering a step change in economic outcomes for clients. Lee added that he has admired InDebted's progress for years and could not pass up the chance to help build a category-defining, globally relevant business from Australia.

Industry Context

The global collections industry has traditionally relied on manual processes and legacy technology, creating opportunities for AI-native platforms to improve efficiency and consumer experience. InDebted's approach uses agentic technology to automate workflows across the collections lifecycle, from receiving payments to regulatory compliance. The company's leadership additions are expected to support further adoption of this model across its international markets.

With these appointments, InDebted successfully completes a leadership transition that positions the company for continued expansion across its six operating regions and four core product lines. McNamara and Lee bring complementary expertise in revenue growth, capital markets, and corporate strategy to the executive team. InDebted's strengthened leadership arrives as the company seeks to further accelerate adoption of its collections infrastructure and deliver greater value to clients and consumers worldwide.
