Digital identity infrastructure firm iDen2 has announced a strategic partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp., a leading government IT solutions provider. This collaboration designates Carahsoft as the public sector and enterprise distributor for iDen2's advanced decentralized identity platform. The agreement aims to enhance cybersecurity and streamline digital services for government agencies and large organizations.

A Strategic Alliance for Digital Trust

Under the new agreement, Carahsoft will make iDen2's platform widely accessible through its extensive reseller ecosystem and key government contract vehicles. This includes prominent contracts such as NASA's SEWP V and the Army's ITES-SW2, among others. The partnership is designed to accelerate the adoption of next-generation identity solutions across the public sector.

Alfy Louis, Founder of iDen2, stated that the collaboration will significantly expand the company's distribution and reach. He emphasized the growing need for a universal, verifiable identity for every person, organization, and AI agent in the digital world. This vision positions trust as the fundamental layer of the emerging agentic economy.

Modernizing Public Sector Identity Verification

Government agencies are currently focused on modernizing their cybersecurity frameworks while improving citizen service delivery. This partnership directly addresses the increasing demand for secure, interoperable, and privacy-centric identity management systems. The collaboration provides a robust solution for agencies looking to upgrade their digital infrastructure effectively.

The iDen2 platform is built on a decentralized, passwordless architecture rooted in self-sovereign identity principles. It empowers organizations to issue and verify cryptographically secure, reusable digital credentials for individuals, devices, and agents. This approach reduces repetitive identity checks while giving users greater control over their personal data.

A key feature of the platform is its use of artificial intelligence to deliver predictive fraud prevention and enhanced security. It incorporates AI-powered trust scoring and offers protection against sophisticated threats like deepfakes and synthetic identities. These capabilities are crucial for strengthening national cybersecurity and ensuring the integrity of digital interactions.

Expanding Market Access and Impact

Steve Jacyna, Director of Innovative Cybersecurity Solutions at Carahsoft, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration with iDen2. He noted that the platform's verifiable credential framework and AI-driven fraud prevention will help public sector clients reduce risk. This ultimately improves digital service delivery and strengthens citizen trust in government interactions.

The partnership ensures broad availability of iDen2's solutions through a comprehensive portfolio of purchasing contracts. Beyond SEWP V and ITES-SW2, the platform is accessible via NASPO ValuePoint, TIPS, and OMNIA Partners agreements. This wide-ranging access simplifies the procurement process for public sector organizations across the country.

The strategic alliance between iDen2 and Carahsoft marks a significant step forward in making advanced digital identity solutions more accessible to the public sector. By combining iDen2's innovative decentralized platform with Carahsoft's extensive distribution network, the partnership is set to redefine digital trust. This collaboration will empower government agencies and enterprises to build more secure and efficient digital ecosystems.
